nichole is half filipina, no?????? arnel replaced steve perry pretty accurately if you ask me....imo which is why i think he would be huge in the phillipines! Manny and it's not even close. When I was in the Philippines, rarely did I even hear Arnels name mentioned. And, although Pacmania died down a little bit after the Marqez KO, he is still HUGE there. Think about it, before Manny, NO other Filipino has had brought so much attention and had world notoriety like he has. Marcos somewhat, but his was negative attention unfortunately.

I'm guessing this thread is only for Pinoys because i have never heard of that other guy and I have a strong feeling not too many other posters have? Lol. But I'm not from the Phillipines, the only Filipino I knew who was famous before Manny came on the scene was that actor from LA Bamba, Young Guns and Stand and deliver he played a cholo, Lou Diamond Phillips, he always played Mexicans or Native Americans in movies. do you know anything about the band journey? im very familiar with ritchie from la bomba, he played that role perfect.... also the "protection' line in stand in deliver is classic!
