And if he beat GGG that would still be zero HOF wins.
True but he'd have his first p4p win. Other than Bute I suppose, I doubt he has a top 20 win, and Bute stock has dropped dramatically. Could happen to GGG too, but Froch and Hearn wouldn't bet much on it
He is better than Gatti too, but he's not making it in, sorry. That's zero HOF wins. But lots of quality wins, a sustained record of excellence. And taking on the toughest opponents, until some unproven, overhyped MW comes calling.

If Ward doesn't count for Ward's resume, then let's just remove the likes of Barkley, Hagler and Leonard from Hearns' resume as well.
I think Kessler is every bit a HOFamer as Jose Cuevas.

Without being too harsh, Ward does not count as a scalp for Froch. Kessler is not HOF, sorry, though unlike Froch he'll have a HOF win.

Ward, Kessler (maybe) could both potentially be HOF.
It still doesn't take away from the fact that Froch has a resume of pure quality, and Thomas Hearns also has that.
There's someone like Jose Cuevas - if he got into the HOF i'm sure some of Froch's opponents could as well. Virgil Hill and Benitez were obviously good wins, and then he's 1-2-1 against old Duran, Leonard and Hagler.
Once again, I'm not saying Hearns wasn't a great fighter, he clearly was. But I don't think his win resume is out of Froch's stratosphere. Feel free to disagree.

Its self explanatory. Froch has a lot of good scalps but nothing approaching HOF. No p4p wins either. GGG would probably go down as his best win, ask Hearn. Want some quotes from the video?

I still don't think it's far fetched to compare the two. If you want to debate that, you should leave it in the thread there and I'll be happy to.
Though I now have a feeling you're just riding on someone else's words because you don't know anything about it yourself.

You're calling a spade a spade, and so am I.
Hearn in his most recent video has made it pretty clear he believes Golovkin and Degale would most likely bring in the same kind of revenue. His reasoning is that it's common sense to choose the easier fight in Degale for the same money than it is to fight Golovkin, who'd arguably do far more for his legacy. He's also pretty sure that Degale fights Froch and not Chavez.
8:25 and onwards.
This should really be mandatory viewing for Ts, Dirk and the Froch fans that hate on GGG. Props to both Hearn and Froch for the honesty, they don't deserve to get trolled by me just for having some obnoxious, full of sh1t fans
You're right, you weren't sure, but put a lot of work into that Hearns comparison. You know Froch has never defeated a HOF fighter, or anyone p4p top 10. In fact GGG would be his best opportunity for a p4p scalp, smaller, unproven, undeserving of p4p billing he's been getting. Or he could hope Hop beats Kov and see of risk/reward is right, at 170

When did I say Froch was an ATG? Please quote me on that.
No, and I'm not looking for it :lol1:

Says a guy that has Froch as an ATG and compares him to Hearns.
Found those Nielsen numbers yet?

froch knock's ggg's head smooth off his shoulders. as for the op's question, a big fat zero, none, zilch!!!! although two elite/close to elite fighters actually called him out and pull his ***** card(lara & ward) only to have ggg queef and hide behind excuses from his team.
I know you're a sorry troll and not worth the time, but I wanted to dig up this link
http://www.boxingscene.com/lara-tells-manager-hes-ready-fight-gennady-golovkin--74510
Lara's manager: "HBO would have to speak to Lara's adviser Al Haymon, but we are very happy fighting on Showtime."
That's like those t-shirts "I want GGG, but not next" lol. But its only sane, does anyone think Lara can go the distance with GGG?
i agree but i dont buy that all fighters are ducking him well see but right now ward is trying hard to get the fight to bad they aint the same weight even tho they could be. there is no doubt hes pound for pound hell get his chance to prove it. Honestly stevans was probably his hardest fight tho
So trying hard is sitting out, repeatedly losing in court, saying I'm the A-side, send me an offer? That's not trying hard, that's joking around
