Quite shocked by his comments here, does he have the desire if the going gets tough still? Looks like Rigo snatched his soul something bad!
It I just think it is a accumulation of many things as far as politics in boxing, lack of loyalty from fans, boxing media jump from bandwagon to bandwagon, never truly being embraced by Pacquiao fans despite being Filipino himself and also the same Boxing Media who had him Top 5 P4P a few years ago aren't giving him much of a chance on Saturday against Walters
So I could understand why one could lose his desire and passion for the sport especially the way the sport is today
But yeah not what you want to hear from a fighter going into a big fight but I still expect Donaire to look his best at much better than he did his last 2 Fights
How many more excuses can you come up with? lol.
He is one of the highest paid fighters in the lower divisions. This is all on him.

He definitely doesnt sound right mentally. Its like his one foot is out of the door so to speak. I actually think he needs a long break from boxing he sounds worn/burned out. Or maybe retire. Well he see how looks against walters because a guy like walters is definitely the type of fighter that will ask the questions about whether nonito still wants to be in this sport.
Micah, is that you?
Another guy who looks like Superman until he gets bent over. Can't stand confidence players.
Boxing is about adversity. It's hard. Too hard even for some of the better guys to have competed in the sport.

What I don't get is I believe Robert Garcia is still his corner man, yet Garcia is recently on video saying he hasn't seen Donaire at all for this camp and that he is sure his father did a good job training him for this fight.
If we get that same clueless looking, left hook happy Nonito on Saturday.. then Walters might just be on the come up.
i noticed this in the road to/interview vs rigondeaux, talking about how he doesn't even care about the fight, he's got a baby or something along those lines
his baby has killed his fire, in his last couple of fights he's shown signs of wanting to quit
if he gets the excuse he will
He is going to get knocked out.
I've noticed the same thing since the Rigo fight and he was looking for a way out in Vetyeka fight as well. Walters is a BAD, BAD matchup for him, especially at this time in Noinito's life. He is also underestimating his opponent and Walters will put him away when he hurts him. This may be the last time we see Donaire because if he gets KO'd, I believe he will just retire.
I wanna bang Racheal!
So do I.

It has the look of a defining fight for Donaire. A win could see him go on to significantly enhance his legacy at featherweight. A loss could see him head for the exit.

Sometimes it's hard to tell if Donaire is just being honest, and saying what most other fighters think. Or if he's just lost completely lost his motivation for the sport.
