Why are people saying Danny Garcia? Lol. Dude's got some skills, a lot of size, great chin, and big power at 140. Wtf lol. Danny is a very good fighter...
Soliman is a good call. Has zero goin for him aside from hard work.
Paulie was a good call. Sub par speed on a dude with some of the lightest hitting hands in recent memory. But he had a good IQ, desire and a good gas tank.
Nicolino Locche always stood out for me. Short arms, short legs, zero f ucking power, did he even train? Lol. He was an ugly dude too if youre into that... Genetically speaking he had nothing going for him.
Holyfield was an undersized hw an did a lot with what he had at that class.
Margarito pretty much zombied his way to success. Though he did have an abnormally good chin and gas tank... Not sure if that counts.
Yuri Foreman also.
And maybe its just me but Ive gotta give a shout to K9. He's literally just a big, buff, strong as s hit dude. Lol. Ive always seen him as like this big ass 154 brute with no skills. Maybe I'm too hard him though. He's a good dude
Even though he $ucked John Ruiz became Heavyweight Alphabet Champ
Nice one, John ruiz definitely in that category.
How the F6ck this quiet, soft body, mediocre latino became HW champion in Holyfield-Lewis era is still puzzle me to this day.
Juan Diaz struck me as a huge overachiever back when he held multiple titles at lightweight. I don't necessarily agree with posters saying Danny Garcia. Danny has punching power and can turn the tide with one of his perfectly timed left hooks. His right hand does damage too and he's got above average hand speed. Not to mention, he also seems to have a granite chin.
Danny Garcia beats the Odds all the time
This Matthysse fight is in another language. It's all I could find.

Giovanni segura managed to be inside the top 10 p4p after the 1st calderon victory (not that everyone thought he deserved it) with his kind of skilset it was almost a miracle...
Sam Soliman might be the least talented world champion I've ever seen so in a sense he deserves credit. As weak as the division is to win a world title with no great attributes deserves respect. In fact I believe he was also a world champion kickboxer as well, truly an inspiration.
Carl Froch, Danny Garcia, Tim Bradley if talking current fighters.
Throw is Sam Soliman unbelievably he won a world title on nothing really outside of toughness and conditioning.
