went way over your head
if you think mismatches like Guerrero-Floyd for $70 is what boxing needs then i'll be more than happy to see the likes of you go once Floyd quits
But did you buy the fight?
I cannot wait for this tool, to retire and go away. He is an absolute joke, and a disease for the sport of boxing!!!!!!!
So he's hatin on Canelo for trying to take charge of his career and moves to HBO because it is better for his career and he wants to eventually be his own boss, when he did the exact same and left to Showtime for the better deal. This guy is the BIGGEST HYPOCRITE!!!
Fight your last 2 fights Floyd and go away!!!
What's with Iole and Rafael suddenly getting all bold and brave? Is there a shift in the wind?
Rafael has always been like this, Iole it seems new to me
Sounds like a bitter ex to me. It's not Floyd's fault Manny ducked him.
WOW that's what you took away from this article? Your not biased at all SMDH!!!!!!!!
Remember when Floyd would cite a fighters lack of PPV fights as a reason to disqualify them as opponents. So he himself acknowledges that that he needs a strong B-side to have a big A-side fight.
Just for the fun of it, I'd like to see someone words their question correctly and ask Floyd why he doesn't wanna fight the # 2 PPV draw in Boxing.
hes hes..... he still sleeping doe.
Well according to the numbers Floyd fights seem to be the only ones people are interested in I mean do you see a big PPV star coming up after him?
You might not like Floyds antics but they seem to work people don't only want good fights they want to feel a connection to the fighter it's more than fighting they got a guy coming up in MMA named Conor Mcgregor and he can take over combat sports the same way Floyd did because he has personalty people love having someone to hate Ali wasn't always loved
And i think Floyd has more haters online then children
how many people feel connected to a spoiled loudmouth retard who can't read and beats women?
when boxing doesn't have to depend on buffon's antics for publicity and is forced to actually make good fights to keep people interested, it will be more entertaining
at least, to the real fans of the sport...Floyd's online children will disappear because they wont know who to follow
and that will make the forums have better conversations and those too will become more entertaining

I wonder how entertaining boxing will be when Floyd is gone
boxing will always be entertaining to boxing fans. it wont be headline news though. everything floyd does is in the headlines in the us. that wont be the case anymore. things will change, thats for sure.
I'm pretty sure most of the surprise has been from the writer of the column rather than the content. The same article would be just business as usual for many other writers.
makes sense i guess. not the first time iole called floyd out though.
im interested to see how floyd closes out his career. i think we may all be in for some surprises. otherwise i dont have any issues with the article. totally on point. not sure why anyone is shocked though.

Yes he talks about loyalty and criticizes Oscar for getting rid of Shaeffer, even though he was trying to kick Oscar out of his own company. But Floyd gets rid of Ellerbe who's been faithfully by his side rubbing his chest throughout his career for speaking about a possible Pacquiao fight, and threatens to find a new trainer if his dad insist on speaking of a possible Pacquiao fight. All this article does is point out the multiple hypocrisies surrounding Floyd.
Mayweather is wrong for threatening to fire Sr, but Sr. is too loose with his mouth, Pacquiao has Algieri lined up and none of us are aware of the possible roadblocks that may once again turn up in another Mayweather-Pacquiao negotiation. It's unprofessional to tell people it's gonna happen, Sr has also ripped Elerbe without even knowing if things will get patched up. On top of that Mayweather wasn't liking the fact that Sr. was pretty much revealing the game plan going into the Maidana rematch, he takes that stuff serious.
I'd like to see them have a strong relationship, I was happy to see them get together and it's obviously helped Mayweather but Sr. needs to be checked.
As for this article, nothing new here was revealed. I guess I shouldn't have expected anything new.
