His performance against Bika was high level stuff, if your interested in seeing how to create room up close and working short punches. The way he set up Chad Dawson, right hand to the stomach followed up with the left hook, that was impressive. I'd say Froch was his best performance, although his right hand wasn't clicking as well as it was against Kessler.
Dang bro. I dont have ne comments now. U just about hit them all. I will add that the Bika fight most impressed me.
To tough it out against a fresh Bika is a down and dirty, knock em out, drag em out fight. Bika is the personification of rough and tumble.
I like Dirrel but a Prime Bika KOs him with vicious inside punching. My friend was at that fight. He said blood and plasma was flying everywhere
I think Dawson was his best performance. Did anyone on the planet pick Ward by TKO?
You can't pretend Dawson wasn't drained in that fight. He clearly was.
broken left hand. ward is, of course, a left hand dominant fighter.
it's just another one of a long string of miracles to eventually be written down in the book of peter.
peter is my name, of course. i'll eventually be killed for my beliefs. the word martyr, theologically, means "witness."
And he pretty much only threw the left hand in that fight. Wow. Makes it even more impressive, he dominated throwing punches only with his broken hand.
Froch and the dawson fights are my favorite...
Ward isnt really exciting but the dawson fight was an epic beatdown, and froch always makes things interesting
Blasphemy to the sport and your posting nonsense on the most popular boxing forum in the world. Between Calzaghe and Floyd : Bernard Hopkins, Miguel Cotto, Chris Eubank, Oscar De La Hoya, Roy Jones, Diego Corrales.

Bika was his hardest fight, I'm not even sure Ward won it.
Like everyone else I'd have to say Froch as his best performance, he won 9-3 imo. No one had beaten Froch like that, and probably never will again.
Excitement-wise, the Dawson fight was probably as good as it gets from Ward.
It was a hard fought 9-3, very easy to score.

i used to hate wards style, i appreciated it much more after froch i think it was
maybe i hating because of the headbutts on kessler even though i picked ward to pick him apart, ward and dirrell were the underdogs of that tourney and i thought they would have faced each other int he finals if not for dirrell opting out

I picked Ward by KO. I was certain of that outcome as soon as the reports of Dawson getting KO'ed by Miranda the week before came out. That combined with Chad struggling badly with the weight.
Best performance? Froch by a mile.
froch.. dominantly beating a really good opponent in all areas with one hand. just a tremendous performance.
dawson wasnt himself and as good as he looked against kessler and abraham they are both very one dimensional B level fighters imo. froch is elite and hes got a couple of dimensions to his game yet ward outdid him in all of them.
entertaining is hard. maybe miranda, ward boxed him early then mugged him down the stretch.
Didnt rate the kessler 'performance' as it was just foul after foul. I think his performance against Froch was pretty damn impressive. Shame he has fooked his career up, he could and should be one of the best fighters in the world, but he just doesnt fight.
these will salt the wounds :lol1:
we need to remember the victories over kessler and dawson. ward hatred has led the dawson win to be hugely undervalued on bscene. ward took him apart with his mind, and knocked him out.
the idea that ward held and headbutted kessler to a W is perpetuated by europeans, and most of them are racist. they don't like to see a black guy beating hte hell out of somebody with whom they identify.
ward picked kessler apart on the outside, and eventually on the inside, too. his legs looked unreal that night. kessler was himself initiating many of the clinches. ward wants to keep his hands free and work. he's generally shorter and has a shorter reach than most top SMW.
