Why do people make these two hbo tv and pacquiao fan hyped mexican guys with huge mexican followings seem like the two greatest fighters ever when in reality they were good but not all time greats look who they lost to in their primes other good fighters such as junior jones barrera not saying they werent good but all time greats no and they lost to pacquiao when they were on the downslide tho morales beat him the first time the last two times were jokes
he looked way out of shape for raheem, and it was funny seeing him outbox raheem when he mimiced his style
the second morales win was great for pacquiao, the third he was drained
He was drained for the 2nd one too. He had to strip naked to make weight and looked like a damn skeleton.
I was about to write along winded critique of the OP and his opinions on two of the best fighters over the last 20 years...then I decided against it as he is clearly dimwitted
Barrera was thought to be done but he wasn't and he gave Hamed a boxing lesson and an ass whipping. He resurrected his career and even though he wasn't at his peak, that's a great win IMO.
Morales lost to Zahir Raheem the fight before. It wasn't even a close fight, Raheem absolutely dominated Morales. IMO he was no longer "el terrible" but "just terrible". Following the Raheem loss Morales went on to finish 2-7. If it were anyone else the win wouldn't be given nearly as much respect.
You forgot to mention that Morales fought Raheem at 135. What was Morales's record at 135 before Raheem? Impressive? What weight was Morales in those losses that you mention?
Morales had decent fights after that including nearly beating Garcia and Maidana ..... at weight classes that were several above 130
Morales did well against Manny in 2 of the 3 fights. Manny was getting better while Morales was not ......

barrera, morales and mayweather are undefeated in their 41'st fights. but barrera and morales fought HOF fighters after their 41'st.
Well he can thank the old Svengali himself the bobmaster
We are talking morales and barrera but aince you wanna include maidana he slept on morales but your gonna say he didn't also he was a way better fighter skillwise with robert garcia but ur gonna probably say he isnt and say a fighter cant improve but im sure you think pac improved under roach lol and while we are at it didnt floyd come off a 2 year layoff and wipe the floor with marquez who flatlined pacman
now eat a d!(k and have a nice day you little prick
Not one of your posts seems to be coherent..
Did you forget Floyd didnt wipe the floor with Maidana, who barely got by a triple shot, fat, one eyed Morales? Floyd needed a rematch in fact.

Morales and Barrera are both greats in my eyes...
Very good not great
Maybe not top 50 ATGs in history but definitely 2 great fighters and 2 of the absolute best in the last 25 years
There cant be 2 absolute of the same thing impossible lol
To downplay their accomplishments and being overly critical of their losses is not cool..
Im not i said they were very good But not great they are only made to seem like atg's to make pacs wins even more superb and not taking from pac because he finished then like he was supposed to
Manny would have never become a household name if he hadn't gotten the stardom rub from fighting those 2...

Did Raheem go to war with Erik Morales and break him?
No?
Then shut the fuck up about.
Maybe it's because the guys who bring that fight up in order to discredit Pacquiao are usually raging Flomos, but some people need to learn that how you win counts for something in this sport.
Going toe to toe with a legend like Morales and beating him like no one before you ever has = Legacy enhancing
Running and clinching in order to run down the clock in a dull, dogshit fight that people can't wait to forget = Fuck all
It's straightforward enough when you think about it.
He convincingly beat Morales which means Morales was coming off a one sided loss. "Breaking him" or "going to war" is irrelevant. It's still a loss regardless of how you choose to spin it.

Gtfoh with this feigned anger garbage. Manny Pacquiao is an ATG. Beating a drained Morales fresh off a 12-0 drubbing is not the reason why and definitely wasn't a great win.

Actually theyre the exact type of fighters he would have wiped the floor with and people would of called cherry picks and im glad my bro pac wiped the floor with them 2 4 out of 5 times
Did you forget Floyd didnt wipe the floor with Maidana, who barely got by a triple shot, fat, one eyed Morales? Floyd needed a rematch in fact.
Morales and Barrera are the kind of fighters that Floyd will duck if they're on the same weight division.
