taylor has al haymon power so that should boost his odds by 500 percent. haymon has evil plans to match taylor, quillin, and jacobs in a round robin of bums.
I agree these odds should be closer to even, Jermain Taylor has never been outboxed unless in there with a hard puncher like Pavlik or Abraham.
What?!! Did you see prime Taylor in with JMW's Wright & Spinks? Hell he even spent the entire night on the back foot vs Ouma.
I've seen Taylor as high as +240, thoughts? Is he really that shot? Fighting a 41 year old champ, makes me want to place a bet just on GP..
I expect Soliman to make Taylor look bad and earing a clear decision. A less than prime Spinks did it to Taylor in in Bad Intention's prime.
That said, I'm concerned of Taylor getting a BS decision. Being in Biloxi, I also have concerns on various things being on the up & up - such as weigh in and drug testing.
I can also see Soliman stopping Taylor. He's pressed in some of recent fights towards the end. Giovanni Lorenzo got floored in the 12th round (the first time he'd been floored up to that point) and Les Sherrington was stopped (don't know if it was on his feet). Either way I don't rate this version of Taylor much above those two fighters.

Funny thing is that the over/under is at -500 >9.5 and +320 <9.5.. So that means the books believe it is likely going to decision.. Very interesting..
