No doubt. One of my favorites. Instant NYC classic. The early/mid 2000s were some fun years in boxing.
Really great years.
Mosley-odlh
Trinidad Vargas
Odlh Vargas
Mosley cotto
Hopkins tito
Best fought the best, great times.
That was a great fight, very even and then you saw the tide turning. Zab was a good fighter in his day and was never easy aside from the tszyu fight.

I'd pick Judah. Speed and movement are Maidanas kryptonite.
Judah in his prime was solid. He gave Cotto who is 10x better than Maidana all he could handle before Cotto went nut hunting.

so retard who did you have winning? and by how many rounds
if you know how to score rounds it was clear....Judah swept the beginning of the fight, got kd, and towards the end Matthyssee was picking up steam
With out the kd Matthyssee would have lost by 3-4 easy
the Alexander fight was closer for the Machine, it could've gone either way
You really don't know how to score fights.
Judah doesn't fight like any of those fighters, and time and again has crumbled against fighters like Maidana.
Maidana has not fought anyone like a prime Judah...your point?
Again...styles make fights.
Judah has only lost to Tszyu, Khan, and Garcia at 140 and the latter were when he was like 34 or older
147 is a weight he won a title at but he is small for the weight and dropped back down for a reason
Maidana aint this beast you think he is....anybody who doesn't stand in front of him beats him....if you think he will steam roll Judah its a joke
Not that it's worth bragging about, but that fight was very close.
:dunce:

a prime maidana lost to devon alexander, amir khan, kotelnik, and a 37 year old past prime Mayweather
Styles make fights and notice he lost to every decent boxer he fought

A prime Zab Judah lost to Cory Spinks and Carlos Baldomir.

zab got smashed by baldomir, what do you think would happen?
Not that it's worth bragging about, but that fight was very close.
People forget a past prime Judah clearly beat one of the biggest hypejobs on this forum....Lucas Matthyssee at 140l
:dunce:
A lot people are overrating maidana......we're talking about a prime zab Judah. Maidana gets his ass whooped.
A prime Zab Judah lost to Cory Spinks and Carlos Baldomir.
Lucas might be better than Maidana, he might not be, but he's a different fighter, that much we know. He was more willing, especially at that time, to play Judah's game. And he still won the fight in most people's eyes.
Maidana wouldn't play Judah's game.
this. lucas get overrated a lot. chino wouldn't play judahs game, would start fast and aggresive. Judah would crumble within 5!
