Does anyone else feel Mayweather will make Manny his last fight?

I mean first off Floyd is one of the most c0cky guys in boxing. It's all about him and we all know this. We know he is only having two more fights till he retires. It just seems like something he would do, in making Pac his last fight and making him wait until Floyd wants it. When he says so. Especially if it's Floyds last fight, it will be the " the Mayweather show"," his last fight","you will see him no more"pitch. Plus the casual fan won't be thinking "prime" or not. In the last couple of years after JMM face planted Pac some of the luster for the fight has been lost. So how does the genius of Money making and promoting bring the interest back? Make waves on Twitter. Floyd's fans will laugh and taunt and his haters will hate even more. It's on the news, sport center, espn, all the Spanish channels and I'm sure it's all over Phillipines. More people are starting to talk about this fight again. I say it happens, because it can be the only blemish on a great legacy and he can erase it with an exclamation. Honestly I would be shocked if he didn't do it....PS I also said he would welcome the Maidona rematch after they read the scorecards in first fight and also said he stood in front of Maidana in the first because he wanted too.

I wanted this fight after Pac-Cotto, Floyd-JMM, but it's too late now. All of the impetus has gone. Both are fading, both don't have their hearts truly in the sport any longer, Pac's been KO'd. It would only be about a big pay day now for both of them.

Behind the scenes, Manny and Floyd are probably best friends creating strategies on how to make this fight relevant still-starting with "Every fight of ours, we will mention eachother's names to give the fans an inkling of hope"...lol Let's face it, these guys mention the other one more than their scheduled opponents even in press conferences.

A suggestion... Instead of a Manny/Floyd thread, how about a Manny/Floyd subforum. There are a number of subject dealing with this issue, and putting them all in one thread doesnt work too well. That's probably why people dont use it as instructed.

The fight will never happen. If it was going to happen it would have happened years ago when it was at it's biggest. Mayweather doesn't want the fight and he never did and he never will. I am not saying he would lose the fight because he should be a solid favorite to win. He can make damn good money without Paquiao even if Pacquiao is his biggest single fight. I don't know why he doesn't want to fight Pacquiao but it's clear to me he doesn't. You don't heap verbal abuse on someone you want to do business with. As long as he was paid fairly Pacquiao would fight Mayweather any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Unfortunately it seems as though we have to wait for Bob's passing just to see this fight. If Pacs brains was as big as his balls this fight would have happened. Arum is like a huge road block. When Pac was offered 40 million he was probably thinking," that means Arum gets 25 and I get 15, hell no!"

To be completely honest I don't know what his intentions are, but he better choose wisely because those of us who have been Floyd fans for many years are slowly but surely tuning out. I know I am getting real tired of his antics, and I know others are as well. I thought he was supposed to announce a "big surprise" for May? What ever happened to that? I agree. I think he has solidified a legacy but he must fight Pac to really show TBE credentials. Win or lose, people won't be saying, he ducked Margarito or Paul Williams. They will only mention Pac. If he beats Pac only the very hardcore fans 20 yrs up, will talk the whole prime crap...especially if Pac continues his career and Floyds ends his with Pac.........most fighters aren't even prime in their last fight.
