Or do you think otherwise? I mean there was the dodgy stoppage in the first fight but after that he was badly hurt in the second fight. When he spoke to carl at the end of his recent showing he sounded pretty desperate.
This reminds me a lot of salido ruining juan manuel Lopez.
He's taken something from him.
Groves has always looked classy offensively and accurate. Last night he looked wild, sloppy and his accuracy was poor.
Not to mention the exchanging and pushing forward with his chin way up in the air...He looked very poor.
It is tough to overcome that sort of thing the only thing that can cure it is time and other success. If they move him any sort of quick he will get beat sooner rather than later.
I wouldn't say so...I mean usually after a huge KO loss fighters usually come back in the shallow end vs an easy tune up challenge or no-one too high ranked. Although Rebrasse isn't great, it's still a pretty difficult challenge to jump straight back into, and he coped fairly comfortably. Difficult to clearly predict what will happen next but I think it's too early to say that Groves has lost much, maybe it's still an after-effect of people overrating him from Froch 1.
