Do you have less respect for the "Junior" weightclasses?

I heard they used to have same day weigh-ins. When was that? How long ago? About 30 years ago until Mike Spinks' fight against Eddie Mustapha Muhammad was cancelled at the last minute due to EMM not making weight.

They make boxing hard to grasp. Watching boxing with casuals and they're like "Super.... Lightweight, what is that?" Makes it tough to bring casuals in explaining all this BS. We already have 1 day early weigh ins, might as well cut the extra classes. You are lying/exaggerating. Explaining to someone that multiple sanctioning bodies exist and what body each belt falls under can be complicated, telling someone about a weight class is not. Casual fans are interested in the fight and what's at stake, yet to come across a casual stumped about the different weight divisions.

all this talk is useless :( unfortunately. ****ing dumb ass weight classes. should just have weigh-ins right before the fight. skills > 10lbs
