Putting aside some of the "feminazi" undertones and video. could floyd's foundation really be eroding away already?
The article is garbage.
It's funny all these critics claim Maywesthers ship sinking but in a span of 1 year he's had the highest grossing PPV in history and followed that up with another 1.8 million buys for his last 2 fights against a non-PPV fighter, which has generated more $ then every other American Boxing PPV combined. If that's losing what the F.u.c.k is winning ?
All this negative press from his critics lets me know that Mayweather is doing it right and there's allot of jealous ladies out there.
good response..the haters gonna hate but the brother is cleaning house and that is always a good thing..ellerbe should have been fired back in 2011 he just doesn't have it..
I don't know if this big shakeup in Mayweather's camp means the end, but it does create a lot of stress. Stress can cause a loss of focus, which is the last thing a boxer needs. We'll have to see how he rebounds.
Your talking about that Larry guy ?
LMAO, if posting on forums were an equivalent to fighting this post would be the KO of the year.

This is Shakespear in action...macbeth! So it is that Hamartie has come for...not the Danish Prince Hamlet but the Fresh Prince Mayweather. I can only speculate on the issues but three of them loom large:
a) The reality was that May needed Pac all this time more than the opposite. Even if he has lost to Pac (I doubt it would have went down that way but just assuming....) He could have had a 3 fight mega deal and been relevant for another few years and he would not be accused of ducking the best. Now even if this fight gets made and Floyd will have to fight Pac if he gets by Algiers....It matters little because both men have declined.
B) Mayweather does not understand the value of loyalty. Ellerbie and others who really care about him may make mistakes but were after his best interests....The proof is in the pudding, say what you will about Ellerbie but he probably protected Floyd from Fifty. Floyd was encouraged to break off that relationship which would have sunk him right there.
C) Floyd is not very smart and does not realize that Haymon and Schaefer will use and discard him. Floyd only became a draw after Oscar....he did not cultivate that fan base and has been increasingly arrogant and pissing off people who are potential allies like Nelly.
Once floyd can't do it in the ring thats it.....
Floyd should compose a new team with his hardcore fans on this site.
I'm pretty sure plenty of them would rub his chest slowly while staring into his eyes.

1. The Money Team is not about money.
2. Floyd is TMT. No one else matters.
3. Haymon and Schaefer clearly intend to use Floyd as a slush fund for their future ventures in the sport, as they did Oscar until Oscar realised what was happening.
The question is whether or not Floyd places his trust in a guy like Schaefer, who betrayed the last fighter/promoter he worked with. The fact that he got rid of a loyal associate like Ellerbe suggests he does.
I for one see the real story here being about the exciting emergence of Ellerbe promotions. With Leonard at the helm, I can see this outfit transforming the boxing landscape in the years to come.

I am wondering if Mayweather is assuming incorrectly that he's a part of whatever Haymon plans going forward. I might be wrong about that, bad as he is for the fans and the sport Haymon seems to treat his fighters right, but I do wonder.
What exactly does Mayweather offer outside the ring, as part of a potential Haymon/Schaefer promotion or whatever the hell Haymon might do, besides being another Oscar, where he does nothing but bring embarrassment upon the name?
exactly. Plus it doesn't help that he's uneducated and stutters everytime he speaks. At least Oscar can speak properly and promote fights.

The boat will sink when Shafer and Haymon rob him blind. If Shafer stole from Oscar what makes you think he won't rob Floyd ? I bet Shafer see's these boxers as stupid people with money that he needs to embezzle from
You got that right. Shaeffer and Haymon stole so much $$$ from Floyd and friends that their able to start their own promotional company.
Pretty much used Mayweather. Boxing needs a commission

That's what happens when you're too greedy and want to rake in all the money. You think it's so easy and suspect people are making truckloads of money off of your fights. You then assign people who know nothing about the business. The result is catastrophic.
