This fight might have been possible years ago, but the networks have engaged in a battle, that makes this fight impossible. Put the fighters aside, the money HBO and Showtime lose by co-promoting is huge, Showtime would lose a lot more than HBO tho. It's not happening I think the networks could hold their nose, it is a major issue to overcome no doubt and they aren't going to just work together just because. The sides have to have the fight made and that literally has to be the last hurdle. I didn't really mean fighter money I meant enough money for everyone to get the beak wet, but fighter money is important because those guys need to want it first. I feel you that it is not happening, but the reason to make the fight is still the main reason most things get done. It has gone sideways to the point that both sides have really lost sight of the prize (instead the main concern seems to be, being worried about the other side getting over on them), but if the sides get their eyes on the prize then it could work out.

Floyd is not doing VADA Arum is not working with Haymon or vice versa HBO is not gonna let Showtime take credit for this mega fight or vice versa Showtime is not paying Floyd 32 million for a co-promoted fight Floyd and Manny are champions, so they can't be ordered to fight each other.
