Money didnt look great. He was talking bout a knock out and I know he say the same thing every fight, but damn.
Floyd looks like he is purely arm punching and resorted to throwing right hands and jumping in to hold.
Granted Bernard has perfected the overhand, hold, punch on the other side of the ref technique, but Floyd last nite is rite behing him.
Maybe at 37 I have to look at giving respect for being at a high level for so long. That being said its time for the young guys stepping up.
Awful card. Glad it wasnt my $80.
Floyd did say he was going for a ko, but someone should then tell Floyd that if he spent less time clinching, he could use the arm he uses to clinch to detonate bombs on Maidanas chin and put Maidana to sleep.
Hed have a better chance of reaching his goal then Floyd.
Hopkins will taste his own blood.
Maybe, but you can never count him out. Kovalev wont knock him out though and probably wont beable to outbox Hopkins even at 50.
I think B Hop wins and a younger B Hop punishes the Krusher
I can see what you mean but hopkins at least let go after a certain amount of time. He never held for a long time. And he at least punches when he clinches.
Hopkins at 37 was physically stronger, more refined in close and he also a great chin which gave him the confidence to mix it up (Not that Mayweather lacks in that department). Mayweather is still good enough to end his career on a good note.
You are rite. I never thought about that. At 37 didnt he beat Tito. Great point.
Im basically saying we have to give Floyd credit for being a living legend and be amazed when he has a great performane.
Canelo for Floyd. Shumenov(miss spelled probably) for B Hop
