floyds gonna fight till he loses, if it happens when he's 50, then thats what it takes. From what I read, and how much he spends, he'll need to keep fighting just to maintain his spending habits/lifestyle. 30 million payout, 30 million spent before the next fight. He'll fight till he's no longer a draw
Floyd is so far from his prime it's actually hard to recognize him. People that aren't true fans that have watched him for years don't notice but I just watched the Hatton fight last week and I can't recognize that Floyd and this one.
He clearly has enough left in the tank to beat the better guys in the sport and I don't think he loses to anyone at WW really.
I think he is a bit similar to Bernard Hopkins, if Floyd is going to lose it isn't going to be against a come forward, pressure/brawler too easy to figure out and time mostly. It will be against guys with quick hands and feet who can box like Dawson/Calzaghe and Taylor where even if Floyd figures out the timing and angles he then has to make sure he is quick enough to get out of the way or beat them to the punch.
Do you think Floyd should consider retiring? It's obvious he's way past his best.
I'd hate to see him lose to a fighter who he'd school in his prime.
Yup! He's still scared of Pacquiao and I don't see people paying money to see him fight anyone else after that bs fight.
Depends on his desire if he wants to retire undefeated then yes it is probably something he should get a move on with.
Now if his main goal is stacking chips (which given his lifestyle should be his main goals if he wants to keep living like that) then he should keep fighting while he can still get as much as he can because those days are not going to last forever and will not come back once they go away.
