People made fun of him for even fighting Maidana the first time. It turned out Maidana almost won. Now there's a rematch. How the **** does winning a fight he should have made easy work of the first time around make him "TBE"? I didn't say win the fight... I said KO... He almost lost the last fight... Now if he stops Maidana tonight, will haters finally give Money credit? Forget calling him TBE, I even edited my op because I know that's never going to happen... But just think, if JCCJr came back and stopped Vera in their second fight, how many JCCJR haters would stop and give JCCJr credit?

Why? Thats a weird conclusion. There is that saying in boxing that styles make fights. Maybe you heard of it before. But lets be honest here - is Maidana a hall of famer? Is he even a current top ten pound 4 pound fighter? So if Floyd stops him what does that do for Floyd's legacy? Not a whole lot when it's all said and done. Maidana is a good fighter. Solid. Tough. Great? No way. I said before and I'll say again I think he's an overachiever. The fact he even got a Floyd fight in the first place was more than most of us thought he'd ever achieve and the fact he earned a rematch even more so. You can discredit Maidana's accomplishments to date, but he was ranked when he acquired the WBA title belt from AB. He wasnt a tomato can on a losing streak when he met Floyd in the ring. But of course, you knew that didn't you? .

Why in the hell would KOing Maidana make Mayweather the best fighter ever in the history of boxing??????? Are you saying no other welterweight in history would have been able to KO Maidana? Hearns, Robinson, Napoles, Leonard or Trinidad in their prime would all be unable to KO Maidana? I love Maidana and he is a hell of a fighter but I think a few of the great welterweights of the past would have KOed Maidana and beat Floyd as well. Declaring yourself the greatest of all time and actually being the best of all time are two very different things. When everybody says you are the best then maybe you really are. Right now only Floyd's most devoted fans think he is the best of all time. Most fans think he is a great fighter but not the best fighter that ever lived.

This is exactly my point, Maidana should've never fought Floyd, only reason Maidana got the fight was because he beat up Floyd's little brother... But still Maidana got the fight and in a lot of ppl's eyes beat Floyd, which, to me, says Maidana is a top contender... Now my question isn't if Floyd decisions Maidana decisively tomorrow, like most ppl expect, it's if Floyd KOs/TKOs Maidana, will his critics finally appreciate his skills?
