We rightfully sh*tted on Garcia vs Salka and his twitter was filled with cherries, but I've yet to see hardly any bashing on this fight. It's on the biggest ppv event in boxing, and LSC is fighting an undersized bum who's not even ranked by the WBC at any weight class (given he's like a career flyweight lol)
Fuck this fight, I like Leo but this fight is lower than garbage. It would be ok if it wasnt:
-a Championship fight
-On a PPV event
-a Mismatch in every damn aspect
SMDH...
Good for roman though, he's getting like 50k?
More people said Garcia deserved an easy fight and were okay with it than have ever called Santa Cruz/whoever he's fighting a good fight. Again, more people care about Garcia, so he'll have both more critics and defenders.
Everyone except like one troll poster has ripped Santa Cruz in every thread about this fight. People keep acting like there's some defense of this fight.
It's literally all the f@gs like ShoulderRoll, Fetta and Hanz Gruber who endlessly defended Garcia-Salka that keep complaining about "no one" sh1tting on Santa Cruz. When about 98% of the forum are indeed sh1tting on him. :pat:
They couldn't wait for a situation like this.

He's just not getting slayed the way Danny did. And it's part because of what you said. Not as many people care/hate/know Leo compared to Danny.
I don't think he is getting a pass at all, well besides a few on this forum who gives him a pass because he is Mexican like they are among other things but for the most part, he has been criticized a lot for not only this match tomorrow but also the fact that he doesn't seem all that interested in fighting Rigondeaux
Nobody really defended the Salka fight though. It was a bs fight. We all knew that. I just didn't wanna hear people act like Danny only fights bums or isn't any good. A yr ago he fought the most feared boxer and beat him. Then he takes a lame fight and people say he fights nothing but bums.

It hasn't gotten as trashed because not nearly as many people care about Santa Cruz. On the flip side of that token, not nearly as many people are defending Santa Cruz as defended Garcia.

It's because lsc is Mexican and Danny Garcia is a Philly and Puerto Rican fighter
And lsc has been bashed way less than Danny Garcia, it's not even comparable .
It's gotten trashed but not the way Danny vs Salka was. People just don't like Danny Garcia for whatever reason.

I thought I've seen the worst in Danny Garcia getting overpaid for fighting Salka. Santa Cruz getting the same amount of money ($750K) Garcia did for fighting a sparring partner and in the undercard is even worse. Garcia, at least, worked hard to promote the Salka fight.
Fan boys will be fan boys. They defend every move their favorite fighter makes. It's hilarious to see fans try to excuse something their fighter is doing then in the very next thread they are criticizing another fighter for doing the EXACT same thing.
I guess by that stupid brit's logic Frampton isn't ducking because "the money isn't right" lmao the irony :haha:
We've already been through this. Frampton isn't fighting Manuel Roman's. He just fought Kiko Martinez, the IBF Champion and he's looking to fight Quigg (WBA regular titlist) in a huge fight.
I don't care if Santa Cruz isn't fighting Rigondeuax. I care that he's fighting a complete fuking bum.
How can you not understand the difference?

I'll give you a few reasons right now:
People have a hatred for Garcia cos the kid beat up on and easily handled this site's favourite puncher. It was embarrassing for the majority of posters here.
The above is not a reason for me personally not hating on LSC as much, but the following is:
LSC is not THE MAN in his division. I'd place him at 3 or 4, depending on how you place Quigg. Garcia was the numero uno in his division and was having back to back fights against guy who could be considered less than world class opposition.
But in all honesty, LSC has been getting a pass for quite some time
Choose your answer...
A) It's Haymons' fault
B) He's a warrior doe
C) First cherry picking offense
D) He's stepping up his next fight
E) He young doe
It's a multiple choice answer BTW.

The fuk does it matter if he's the lineal champion or not? That's gotta be one of the weakest excuses I've ever heard.
He's a world champion and his team turned down better fights to face this bum on PPV for 750k.
It's laughable and worse than Garcia.
What about Rigondeaux-frampton?
As far as social media it's more to do with the disparity in popularity, Leo at best has 1/10th the followers Danny has and I don't even think he has an instagram.
Also the fact Danny's opponent was named Ron Salsa made it easier to bash.
Unlike Danny, Santa Cruz isn't the lineal champion in his division, he isn't considered the best in his division by any rankings either. Last and certainly not least, Santa Cruz and Roman aren't headlining the Barclays Center like Danny and Salka did.
