Does Kovalev crack your P4P list if he beats B-Hop??

Why are people so definite about him cracking their top 10? Hopkins isn't in most people's top 10s. And he's 50 years old. Plus it depends how the fight goes. People base P4P far too much on just names and not performances. ^^^This right here. In order to achieve top P4P status, one should at least defeat a top P4P fighter. Hopkins is amazing for being able to stay in this business at his age, but is he a top P4P? Right now, he's schooling young boys who haven't learned enough yet, or are simply lacking talent. Kovalev would definitely gain some cred for defeating him, but he's supposed to beat a 50 year old man! If he doesn't, it not only says Hopkins is very good, it also says Kovalev is not so good at all. In either scenario, top P4P designation is a stretch.

To me yes, Bhop is 50 man and yes he is a hall of fame fighter, but he is 50. And I think he stops Bhop but top 10? IMO no

No, not for beating a 50 year old man who could conceivably get *old* for this fight He would have to beat some more good fighters at his weight to be in the top 10. Here is my P4P List Floyd Mayweather Andre Ward Guillermo Rigondeaux Wladimir Klitschko Bernard Hopkins Manny Pacquiao Tim Bradley Roman Gonzalez Danny Garcia Juan Manuel Marquez If Hopkins is that High on my list, Kovalev needs to beat more than Hopkins to get on the list. He would need to beat Ward. Both those things are impossible. Kovalev has no chance of beating Hopkins or Ward. Only a fools chance.

He's rising if he gets past Bernard p4p list's could begin to shake up. It'd be incredible if the winner got Stevenson (if the winner of Kova-BHop won that fight too damn he could be in the Top 5 easy)
