.....with "Legacy".
My landlord said I was late with the rent since it was a week past the 1st of the month but I told him that I slipped my proof of "Legacy" under his door.
He said, "All I got was a poorly drawn crayon picture of you holding a belt. What the fuk are you playing at? Give me my fuking rent or I'll evict your broke ass"
I proudly replied, "That's legacy, sir. I always paid the rent at my previous flats on time so I built up my rent paying legacy. I was always the first to pay so I had bragging rights over the other tenants. You are welcome, sir"
He then threatened, "Get the fuk out or I'm calling the police. You can't pay for rent with that you fuking nutjob"
I retorted, "But all the dweebs on NSB said legacy and bragging rights were more important than money, sir! You mean to tell me I can't pay for things with legacy?! I quit my job because I thought I could just brag for hours and it would wipe my MasterCard bill out! Oh fuk!"
Next thing I know I was being dragged off in handcuffs and being called a "stupid worthless bum" by everyone I passed.
It wasn't a good day.
Why do you think Ali was able to sell the rights to his image and Bowe can barely sell his autograph? Legacy?
We're talking about different eras but I know that Ali didn't build his legacy for free. Money and legacy can often go hand-in-hand. But it's clear which is more important.
I'm glad he was able to earn some money after retirement because the nerds that pollute places like this forum talking about "legacy" weren't going to give a sh1t that this man compromised his health for their entertainment.
Actually you might be able to pay with Legacy. Because if you were that good and amazing, people will higher you for future shows/interviews/promotional events/movies long after boxing career ends. Just look at Tyson, lol.
Jr. on the other hand, he retires, he's done. Nobody is gonna want a piece of the Fraud. They'll let his "legacy" die with him.

Why doesn't the latest NSB darling, Roman Gonzalez, just rematch Estrada for "legacy"?
http://www.boxingscene.com/roman-gon...rematch--81963
"I did not make that decision. It was Teiken Promotions, the promoter that is driving my career. And clearly I'm telling you, I have done a lot more than Estrada. So much has been talked about with respect to this fight, but if they do not pay me a million dollars - I will not fight." - Roman 'Money' Gonzalez
I guess he's a "coward" or "scared to lose" for wanting to be paid what he's worth. I thought these guys didn't care about money, they just fight...lol

Ali, The craftsman of the so-called rope-a-dope modus operandi has sold 80% of the marketing rights to his name and iconic likeness for a cool $50 million. The pugilist is keeping the remaining 20% interest.

Amid all the items to be discovered at the Meadowlands Flea Market on Saturday, past the kettle corn and between the $2 leather belts and the $1 bottles of shampoo, was a two-time heavyweight boxing champion of the world.
Riddick Bowe at a New Jersey flea market. He last boxed in December 2009 in Germany, but he has no bouts planned.

You should take that other less stressful job you were offered by that other company where they're going to give you a bigger salary, a company car and a secretary with big tits.
Your current company will soon realise your worth and offer you the same executive job with more perks.
You'll also have more confidence with all the experience, money and tits you'd have gained since leaving.

***UPDATE***
I'm now in prison. I tried to make bail by offering them the "love and adulation of the people".
For some reason, they didn't take kindly to this and threw me into "The Hole" with a friendly guy named "DeShaun" who is kindly offering me a lovely array of soaps to clean up with. He's quite a big clumsy fellow though so he keeps dropping them all over the place. Better pick them up before the warden gets back....
I liked the first post, but this one had me laughing with the **** Update****
Well Frampton is a world champion by todays standards. He is the IBF World Champion no dispute.
Yes milking the title. If he wasn't, why doesn't he fight Rigo, then fight the Quiggs, Santa Cruz's and Mares' after a Rigo fight? It's to milk the title, building the fight to something bigger than it really should be. Perhaps you're differentiating something that shouldn't be, 'milking the title' and making money from it are the same thing..
Quigg, Santa Cruz and Mares are all world class fighters. Santa Cruz is WBC Champion. How the fuk is a unification fight "milking the title"? Christ!
"Milking the title" would be fighting bums in Belfast. If he starts doing that, then by all means go ahead and sh1t on him.
What's annoying is when fans blur the lines between things which are not the same.
Frampton won the IBF Title. He beat the champion for it. He's a real champion yet you have people trying to claim he's not because he hasn't beaten Rigondeaux? So that means Roy Jones only a one weight champion, does it?
It's not the same as Quigg who is clearly not a real champion.
Also people saying he's going to "milk the title" when the fights he's looking at are against Quigg, Santa Cruz and Mares. All great fights in their own right. So how is that "milking the title"? Just because he's not fighting Rigo right now?
It's not like he's trying to fight Forfarna's or Salka's.
People need to learn to differentiate.

Frampton wouldn't be able to pay his bills if he fights Rigo?
I suppose he won't make any money if he doesn't milk that belt for what it's worth. That belt is something to sell to an audience, not denoting that he's the World Super Bantamweight Champion.
I don't blame Frampton for it though, I blame the sport for having ridiculous amounts of titles which allows promoters to con the public into calling them 'World Champions'.
My favourite little joke is one I saw on Showtime before the Broner fight - 'with all these world champions, just how many worlds are there?'

I have a feeling hes a fan of some coward boxer.
I think this is Golovkin...you are banned and using an ALT?? let me ask a mod to check your i.p address
Of course. Fight 18 times a year and have no promotion! What a great way to earn money! Do you mind if I steal this incredible idea and pitch it to the higher-ups?
Maybe not 18 times a year but 4 or 5. If the fighter stays in the public eyes more often then they'll be less likely to forget them. Therefore less money would be needed for promotion and the fighter would make more.
Honestly if boxers cared all that much about making more money they could easily fight more then twice a year. That way they can make more money and beat all the best fighters at the same time.

And if Manny became homeless and you had the money to help him you would just say" thats his fault he should have saved his money" but but you are a diehard fan doe
They could earn their keep prize fighting in the basement with local thugs. Should make a respectable income for me and fvckall (apart from lodgings) to the puppets, which would serve them right for losing it in the first place.
win/win
