A lot of Mayweather's ppv buys come from people who want to see mayweather take his first L or keep his undefeated record. If Mayweather loses to Chino I think a lot of people over the years who bought the fights to just seem him lose will never buy another Mayweather PPV again. Would you still buy his PPV with an L on his record?
so you paid 60 dollars too see canelo vs mosley not mayweather vs cotto? even after mosley was coming into the fight on a 3 year winless streak. you were more excited about the canelo/mosley undercard fight than the main event?
Uh.....yes. My personnel preference. That was the first time Canelo fought someone with a live pulse. I believe that was the only time i saw Mosley looked hurt and it was from a body shot in the middle rounds. Cotto I believe will never be the same post margarito 1. Just my preference, I did enjoy the Garcia vs lucas undercard very much so. But I did not pay to see that one. So you agree with everything i wrote except the Mosley vs Canelo comment huh? That's coo with me
Probably not, unless its against Pacquiao.
But Floyd stye is not action packed so why buy it again? only reason he sells so well is because he is unbeaten and people want to see him lose, but his main complaint is he is boring.
Mayweather losing for the first time could cause a huge psychological trauma. The thought of losing for the second time is probably more traumatic. So I don't see his comeback that interesting to watch. He'd be super cautious, thus more boring to watch.
No, that's if for me, I've seen him lose, so why bother watching him again? Unless it's part of a big fight and is on the undercard.
People don't seem to understand that they've been following him to see him lose.
You can't buy ppv where i live, fights are on a channel with other sports, it's like 10€ per month, but if it was the case, i will not buy it, too expensive, life is hard in Sicilia :crying:
if mayweather loses too chino. maywaether vs maidana 3 will be the biggest fight in boxing history
One of, that's for sure. Floyd would be even more watchable if he lost, we have never seen him battle back from that kind of adversity, it would be good for boxing.
well golovkin is a sociopath, not kidding or even exaggerating the kid is a weirdo. hes not trolling he is legitimately obsessed with floyd. if i were to hear floyd had some nut job stalking him i would figure its a good chance its golovkin.
the poster obviously, not the fighter who ironically is a real gentleman.i ****in hate floyd mayweather aswell homie, lol, i dont respect him, lol, he is trash person, lol, i wish him nothing but the worst , lol, floyd is a woman beater many times over, he is a phony human that respects nobody and has no respect towards people that help him and support him, lol, he has no loyalty, lol, he blames others for everything, lol, he has youngsters(like poster Brushmyhair) worshipping the bullsh1t floyd stands for, lol, floyd never takes responsibility , he doesnt give a **** about boxing or his fans, lol, he loves his entourage more than his ****in father, lol, floyd is too ****in much, lol, **** that mother****er

Lol I don't know. Is golovkin really a "good boy?" I can imagine golovkin stalking floyd. Not even saying anything, just sitting in the background.
If he takes an L I see him disappearing for awhile. I hope he does take an L. I believe he will lose in the ring or in life. I would rather him lose in the ring, that way he finds who really has his back and who was there for the hand out. I remember when RJ Jr took that L from Tarver and he said he was more sad about all the people turned there back on him because he was no longer "the champ". I do not believe FMMJr will be able to cope with the L but at least he will see who truly support him.
To the ? at hand...no, I have not bought any of his fights since the Cotto because i wanted to see Canelo vs Mosley. So unless he has a great undercard or he is fighting someone legit like .....Lara, Rigo, GGG, or ....chit that's about it really and Rigo is way below in weight so really just Lara and GGG. I feel bad for Mayweather and wish nothing horrible on anyone....thanks for your time

Casuals comprise the majority of all fights, which include Mayweather's. They pay to see him lose. If he loses, that's it for them. They don't care if he comes back and wins. The mentality would be, he'll most likely just run and eke out another boring UD win. Bottom line is his stock will significantly drop.

pretty much this, floyd is the favorite here, if chino happens to beat him it would be historic and a rematch will be huge

I'd rather see him retire asap so fans can focus on other fights. Haymon and Espinoza get away with mismatched fights because fans are way focused on Mayweather and Pacquiao. The sooner they retire the better. Fans should have had Garcia vs Peterson, for example. Instead, they got Salsa/Garcia and Peterson/Santana. Just imagine the scenario where Pac and May are no longer around.
Once he loses, Mayweather would be more willing to fight real competition and not duck fighters. He would have no 0 to protect and try to cherrypick around. I put down maybe because he might be willing to face better competition once he loses.
