This guy makes pretty compelling argument for Algieri. Check it out.

This guy? You mean, yourself?
Screw that thief Algieri. If 2009 Pacquiao will resurrect at any point, I'd love for it to be for this fight . Beat the **** out of that thief.
The 2009 pac is never coming back, father time is not good to his style of high speed aggression fighting.
Pac peaked at 30 years old. and has been slowing aging since, he is a shell of his former self now.

Chris is a bum. Nothing more than that. He has fought nothing more than bums and got a gift win over Ruslan. He is a c class fighter at best. Chris has never faced anything close to manny. Adjusting to manny will take a miracle
So you're not buying this ppv ?
Man can't stand those SBnation blogs like bloody elbow and bad left hook, whenever there is a fight they spam the crap out of google search with the same article just different titles every 5 minutes wtf?
anyway the article is pretty good, the only ones who say Chris has no shot are the flowmos who want to sh1t on the fight, there was one guy on youtube who even called Chris the smaller man, smh, and he had the picture you had up with chris nearly a foot taller than Pac haah man they know Pac is fighting a style that is difficult for him, they complained that Pac doesnt fight movers or good boxers who are crafty and than he fights Bradley and now chris who is one of the best back steppers in the game.
So instead of giving pac props for taking on guys with styles they said he has problems with they diss the fight, saying easy fight, just haters.
Someone might beat the"odds", but nobody is fighting the "odds"... They have to fight people instead...
Algieri -- the hipsters' biggest boxing star ever (because is hard to see another before or after this) -- is a mystery for this sport... Fortunately not for long...
Chris is going to **** Manny up IMO. This is a mismatch.
Both the men pictured would either A. beat Algieri Wide UD or B. post 6th round KO. You know it too. :smashfrea

Algieri deserved the decision vs Ruslan, but his Reach and Height won't make a difference vs Pacquiao.
Good article but one alarming thing that caught my eye was about him cutting 17lbs on the week of the fight wtf? i thought a nutrition expert like him wouldn't cut weight at the last minute but i guess it works since he has good stamina/punch output.
Algieri is a good fighter but this is just a step too far imo. If he was to win it would be one of the biggest boxing achievements in recent times. I say this because in the same calender year of 2014 he was fighting Emmanuel Taylor then next thing you know he beats Manny Pacquiao lol that would be insane.
yep...but he has been doing it his whole career i read. He uses his knowledge on nutrition to dehydrate and rehydrate effectively. Algieri has helped many UFC fighters with this including current UFC Champion Chris Weidman
He starts off his argument with the following:
I stopped reading. Sounds like Chris Algeiri's mom. Using buzzwords and value judgements does not make a compelling case for anything.
haha true...but as you read on he makes his case. Its definitely an Algieri article but i learned things about him i didn't know. Has anyone ever been a wrestling state champion, unbeaten kickboxing world champion AND and unbeaten boxing world champion?? Algieri is like the Bo Jackson of boxing lol
He starts off his argument with the following:
Many boxing fans think Pacquiao's next fight against Unbeaten WBO Junior Welterweight Champion Chris Algieri is an easy fight. They need to think again however, and here is why. Chris Algieri is an anomaly, a VERY unique athlete who only comes along once in a generation. This is also an undefeated World Champion in the prime of his boxing career, 5 years younger than Manny, 5 inches taller, with crazy cardio, and the heart of a champion to boot.

the height difference here is more than substantial.....looks closer to 6 inches to me than 4, this is a problem.
