Cotto vs Trout 2

I really think Cotto just slept on Trout. He would probably beat him in a rematch. F*cl him though. No, he didn't sleep on trout. He knew the winner would get Canelo Alvarez, and Cotto tried his hardest, But trout was too slick for him. The reason why Trout is getting overlooked in a rematch is because of his last two fights. BTW the Canelo fight was a Robbery. And he did get schooled by Lara. That is some tough competition Trout faced. After Cotto lost to Trout, he fought a tune-up Delvin Rodriguez and a shot to $h1t Sergio Martinez. I think Trout faced the tougher competition. You can't deny it. It Doesn't Matter If Freddie Roach is in Cotto's corner, Trout vs Cotto is an all around mismatch for Cotto

Good revenge victory

Cotto has to get past Lee first but he should want revenge.

There's nothing in it for Cotto to fight Trout besides avenging a lost...no money in it and that's what he is fighting for.

I would really like for Cotto to try and avenge that loss. He was far from dominated in that fight, but he also clearly lost the fight (Solid 7-5 for Trout) I always wonder why people thought that was a dominating performance by Trout.

The Golovkin fight needs to be made. GGG needs Cotto to get him on the right track to stardom.The Cotto vs. GGG fight should be made but Cotto must agree to the fight and I doubt he ever will. He fought Trout before because Trout had a world title and Cotto wanted his title. Cotto won't fight Trout now because Trout doesn't bring in much money.

Am I the only one who thinks Cotto would take it too Trout right now? Trout had Cotto fighting backwards for god sake. It was a close fight that Cotto loss by letting Trout out work him and dictate the pace. Roach would never let Cotto fight backwards against Trout and this is fact. With the jab and left hook to the liver I think Cotto could take Trout in the rematch. A lot of people think Cotto was dominated because they couldn't believe how good Trout looked but it was a really close fight that Trout won by being more active, not because he was slick. Floyd was slick vs Cotto. Trout just outgunned a Cotto who took him lightly. I agree. Cotto looked like sh*t even before he got in the ring, he was bloated and I think he simply wasn't up for that fight coming off a fight with Floyd. He overlooked Trout and had a terribly hard training camp (tons of sparring and 8 mile runs daily.) He still didn't do terrible in that fight, he lost but in a rematch I think he takes it to Trout. I would prefer to see it over Andy Lee that's for sure.

I would be against it because Cotto is the world middleweight champ now and has a responsibility to defend that title against top rated middleweights. Trout has no ranking at middleweight and the guy he is fighting is ranked about number 70 at 154 by boxrec. If Trout becomes a top 10 middleweight or Cotto were no longer middleweight champ then I would like the fight and pick Trout to win a close one again.

I don't care to see him fight Trout. I really don't care to see Trout or Lara fights again. They aren't even FNF worthy and there is no way they should be seen anywhere on a PPV card.

I think Cotto would win a rematch, I honestly had the first a close win for Trout (7-5), not the "schooling" people like to make out to be now. Miguel with Roach in his corner and a better game plan (attack the body more + counter) would get the win over Trout.

Can't see Cotto wanting anything to do with Trout. He was dominated in the second half of that fight.

Well lets look at the options for right now Canelo owes showtime a fight so no Golovkin vs rubio so no to those two Andy Lee is a good fight Bradley no reason for a 147 vs 154 to fight for 160 belt Same reason as above for Marquez So as far as a respectable opponent and a good back story I think Trout 2 is best fight for now However, I lean toward trout 55 to 45%

Trout would win. Just an awful stylistic match up for him. Even a PRIME Cotto would have been pushed, but probably would have won then.
