LMAO. True.
I didn't even care who won tonight. I'm calling it how I see it. What's Brook supposed to do while he's fighting a guy that doesn't fight like any normal boxer. He fights like a spas that didn't take his pills. Porter would've done that to anyone at WW.
I wasn't rooting for anyone in particular as well man(maybe leaned toward Porter because I don't know much of Brook), but it was pretty obvious from the beginning that Brook, choose to clinch when Porter was close to compensate for his lack of inside fighting skills. Nothing wrong with that, many fighters do this, but blaming Porter for that is simply erroneous. I have seen a fair number of Porter fights and they are generally not that messy, so if others fighters have dealt with his style ok without clinching, Brook could too.
Porter fought the same style that he used to defeat Alexander and Malignaggi and fans liked it then. Brook was the one who held 30 times per round. If you are going to pass around blame, they each deserve 50 percent of it.
I'd say you're being very generous to Brook. I would put 90% of the blame on Brook for his octpus arms and 10% on Porter for the few times he put his head under Brooks arm.
That's how ugly that fight was, and they booed at the end. God, that was dreadful to the eyes.
I put 75% of the blame on Porter.

It's a garbage fight. Both are one-dimensional. One can't fight on the outside, which is understandable, he's too short. The other can't fight on the inside. He didn't even try, not even once. He preferred to clinch all the way to the end.
That was Porter's fault. Brook came to box. Porter was trying to make the Raiders roster.

"75% of the blame on Porter", yep you are not biased at all.
