Both these guys are the hardest punchers in there devision and they both have trouble to find that right opponent to take them to the next level ....my vote goes to thurman since he such in a stack devision ..
Really? You don't think if Floyd came calling that HBO would let GGG go for one fight to give him the *enormous* exposure (unparalleled in the sport today) that being a Floyd opponent provides?? Win or lose, HBO would end up with a more known & marketable name -- under a network contract -- after he fought Floyd than before.
It's irrelevant because Floyd will never fight him (not does he really have to -- I'm not hating) but I'm just saying, Quillin calling out GGG is *NOT* analogous to GGG calling out Floyd because at the end of the day, Floyd is the economic power broker in the sport and even if he had to pay off HBO a cool million or two to let GGG go for one fight, he could do so if he really wanted to. He can fight whomever he chooses.
Interesting argument. I doubt HBO would do that. Why would they help Floyd and showtime make money? if GGG loses, his marketability isn't enhanced.
Floyd does have more options, agreed. I disagree about the calling out.
GGG and his Team knew what they were doing as did Quillin and his team. Same way GGG knows Floyd is the man, Quillin sees that HBO has heavily invested in GGG and he appears 3-4 times a year. People want to see both fights, albeit for different reasons.
Since we know the politics will not allow either fight to happen, its hard to differentiate between the actions.
Don't worry, HBO will never approve the fight because Mora's ugly style would make it hard for GGG to get a KO, which would end the streak that HBO markets.
Can't have it both ways. If you hide behind HBO and not fight guys, even as low quality as Sergio, that call you out when you are looking for an opponent, I don't want to hear how avoided you are.
It's like GGG saying he will go to 154 for Floyd knowing he can't because of his HBO deal and Floyd's showtime deal. If GGG can use "Cold War politics" to draw attention by discussing fights that wont happen, why can't quillin?

Quillen is an under card fighter. I doubt he even has a contract with showtime exclusively. He just hides behind Haymon.
Don't disagree. I don't think he has a Showtime deal, just a Haymon deal. And HBO isn't working with Haymon.
Because Quillin doesn't have an exclusive contract with Showtime whereas GGG has with HBO. They never called out Mayweather, those were the responses to questions "yeah it's my dream fight".
That was almost a year ago. More recently he reiterated that he would go to 154 for Floyd knowing that fight can't happen given the situation.
If GGG can draw attention to himself in this fashion, its extremely biased to complain when Quillin does the same.

Wonder how quick you'd be to take a steamy dump on a GGG-Mora fight if it were made tomorrow
I do believe that GGG is unafraid of Ward but his team is wary of the fight (especially without a prior fight at 168)
Also it's mighty easy for Ward to say, "yeah, bring on GGG" when he himself acknowledges he can't make a fight right now due to contract issues. It's like Quillin calling out Golovkin behind the shield of the Cold War: "I want to fight him but business **** is just keeping me from proving I'm the best Middleweight in the world" LOL give me a f*ckin break

GUys like sergio mora and ward that have called GGG out and can't get a fight with him are in the minds of some of the really worst NSB posters ducking GGG.
I think the answer is both equally. Both guys are low reward, high risk.

Lol Thurman. Who's ducking ggg? Maidana and ghost have already publicly declined Thurman
martinez, froch, cotto are the big ones.
geale dropped a title belt to avoid fighting golovkin, IIRC, before he fought him.
golovkin is the most avoided man in boxing.

It's hard to avoid Thurman when his promoters don't even push for him. I can only guess that Haymon sees more marketability in Broner, Garcia, and Porter and that he sees Thurman as a threat to those guys and keeps the brakes on Thurman's career. Keith needs to break free from the Haymon Monopoly.
Easily GGG.
Thurman brings literally nothing to the table in terms of fan base and name value so of course the big names don't want to fight him. GGG is fairly well known and much more accomplished.
Thurman. He doesn't even have a belt to entice an opponent. 147 is stacked and I don't think he's even fought a top 10 guy yet.
At least GGG has fought Geale and Macklin. Both guys are having troubles getting fights though.
Thurman has the interim version of the WBA title
I would say it's GGG. He's been avoided for 10 years. US fans know only about his last 2 years and yet they even know he is being avoided by the top oppostion in his weight class even when he has the belt.
We can compare avoidance of Thurman to the earlier career of GGG when he fought in Europe and no one wanted any part of him. I would even say Thurman is lucky he got the exposure to the US media and TV because GGG did not have it back in Germany. Those who follow GGG's career would know what I'm talking about.
GGG. There are plenty of great fighters at 147 that could give Thurman one heck of a fight and beat him. GGG on the other hand is in a class of his own. No one in the middleweight division matches his power and aggressiveness.
Both are certainly avoided whether the other top guys their weight admit it or not. You don't hear Mr get me a fight with Mayweather or Pacquiao Khan calling out Thurman. I voted GGG is the most avoided.
