Punch dr unk is rare. If your a youngster now you probably don't know what it means you've unlikely seen a boxer who can't talk.
When they watch Paul mallignaghi, David aye, klitsco wladimir talk kids coming into sport might mistakenly think taking punches for a living improved your vocabulary
I just hope Kovalev avoids him. He can probably beat him, but even if he does, he'll be a ruined fighter. Bernard Hopkins ruins fighters. He'll never be the same afterwards.
:lol1: :lol1:
I've heard him on a radio show, unfortunately he sounds pretty bad. Didn't even recognize it was him initially until I heard what he was talking about then I realized it was B-hop

He is not drunk or drugged - he never drinks.
It's the loud music. Try it yourself. He is perfectly fine.
I wish him all the luck against the Kovalev. Although I am Kovalev's fan I wouldn't mind if Bernard takes this one. Man is the legend!
OMG! I was thinking the same thing when watching the interview, something didn't seem right with bernard-like his years of fighting is catching up to him. Either that or he was just actually drunk or high on cocaine
...slurring his words and stuttering a lot.
Hopkins talks about his showdown against Kovalev - 02 Aug 2014
He speaks better than most inner city youths or Youts
Didn't watch everything but there was loud music playing, while he was speaking. Sometimes I know for myself, it can distract you a little bit, I don't think he's punch drunk, god forbid, from what I heard.
It's hard to speak when you can't hear your own words, that's why deaf people sometimes have a big problem talking, after they've become deaf. That loud techno music was the reason for all this shenanigens.
