Greater legacy: Calzaghe or Hopkins?

No One takes calzaghes career serious. Maybe he could of been great, but he didn't take the fights he needed to for that to happen, and that's what he will be remembered for. Heck, we talking about a dude who legit ducked glen Johnson twice, and who's best wins are against 40 year olds....

And for the record I thought Bernard beat Calzaghe, he dropped him early he just wasn't active enough. All Calzaghe did was land a bunch of pitty pat bs the whole night, then he retires lol cause he's trying to protect his record and avoid a rematch with Bernard. well he didn't actually land them but he threw them!

calzaghe, just.. IMHO though if b hop beats kovalev he will definately take the crown :boxing:(that wont happen) In all honesty, if he wins against Kovalev, it won't elevate him particularly. Just as much as a KO loss in the first round wouldn't degrade hopkins status. Kovalev is not at all great enough to affect a fighter like Hopkins' greatness.

Hopkins is perhaps a #10-15 of all time. Joe perhaps #100.

Calzaghe didn't beat one hall of famer that was within 5 years of their prime jeff lacy would have been a hall of famer and better than tyson but calzaghe beat him so badly that he wasn't able to reach his full tyson potential so that counts.
