Is it better for a young but popular fighter who can't have their own ppv to be the headliner on a HBO/Showtime Saturday night? Or on the undercard of a big ppv event such as a Mayweather fight?
I think it would be better to headline a HBO or SHO card
psychologically it'll give you more confidence that people came here to see you and with PPV's not doing so good this year, more people will watch - especially if its on HBO
Which one did people care and talk about more, Broner vs Maidana or Broner vs Carlos Molina
Not saying you are wrong, I think I agree headlining is probably better for you but you have to consider the opponent in your Broner comparison. I think if you consider Garcia-Mattysse, probably deserved it being the headliner vs as an undercard but in the end I guess it doesn't matter. Just seems like the undercard coming up for the Msyweather Maidana fight is going to be underwhelming. Certainly isn't going to help sell the ppv.

To win over the casual fan, it would be better for them to be on a Floyd PPV undercard. IMO
For "hardcore" fans, I don't think it matters much. They'll watch it regardless
