I'm not picking against Hopkins for the rest of his career (or until his age catches up to him).
B-Hop is a cerebral assassin. And if he wants to fight you, then that means he sees something in you that he can exploit. If he doesn't, he won't fight you
Age won't ever catch up with him. He will fight past 59.

Hopkins will take him to school. Fickle boxing fans forget that this is the same Kovalev who turned down an opportunity to fight Hopkins to fight a lesser quality champion for the belt that he currently holds. Kovalev was considered a nobody at that time that had no chance of beating Hopkins. Now, fickle and unknowledgeable fans thinks he is the next Rocky. However, Kovalev is still the same fighter that Hopkins would have beaten had Kovalev not opted to fight Nathan Cleverly.
Kovalev didn't turn down Hopkins, Hopkins promoter and network turned down Kovalev and approved Murat

i thought showtime rejected kovalev and then the russian went for the belt against cleverly, but then they agree on the murat fight.
The People picking Kovalev to beat Hopkins I bet are the same people who picked Lucas Matthysse to beat Danny Garcia.
Not me! Ran with Danny vs Lucas and I think Kovalev is gonna kill Hopkins!

This is true as can be.
Never count B-hop out. Matter a fact, I am counting Kovalev Out.

From now on, I'm going in every thread involving a "defensive" fighter and saying it's going to be just like Maidana/Broner. See how quick people get sick of that.
By defensive u mean black right lol. Everyone knows broner wasn't defensive

There is literally nothing comparable about the two fights. Nothing at all. Garcia and Hopkins don't fight alike. Kovalev and Matthysse fight very little alike. They are not at the same point in their careers. There is nothing alike except each fight features a puncher that is favored.
Was Golovkin/Geale just like Garcia/Matthysse going in? How about Wlad/Pulev? Or Alvarez/Lara? In all those fights the harder puncher is heavily favored. Are they all the same?
