Sam Soliman: I have a fight date later this year in the USA but will be free in March

Soliman targets GGG soliman-kalin300By Ray Wheatley — World of Boxing IBF middleweight champion Sam “King” Soliman talked to *********.com to say he was impressed with Gennady “GGG” Golovkin’s three round stoppage of Daniel “Real Deal” Geale on Saturday, but also mentions the WBA champion can still be defeated. “Golovkin was at his very best on Saturday in Madison Square Garden when he stopped Daniel Geale in three rounds,” said Soliman. “I don’t think Daniel was mentally prepared for the fight. He did not box at the top level or show his normal confidence as he did when he defeated Felix Sturm in Germany. I’m sure Daniel will come back better than before. I’m still confident I can defeat GGG. Boxing is all about styles and I know my style would give him problems. Golovkin’s management would know I have the style to cause a major upset and take ‘GGG’ to school. I have a fight date later this year in the USA but will be free in March or April next year if Gennady wants to get it on. It looks like he's discussing a fight with Truax because it doesn't sound like he's going to be fighting his mando since there isn't one yet.... plus he's probably getting a voluntary before that....so yea... might be Truax @KFZ001 yes sir. I'm loving the sudden interest in belts now. It used to be: F*ck belts, make the competitive fights. Now it's: He got a belt, we want GGG to fight him cause of his belt. He's trash though, but oh well, he got a belt.

It must be his mandatory and then possibly Golovkin. It's not a bad fight to be honest but Soliman is an old fighter, however I do agree with what he said about Geale, the Australian came in looking terrified. He just didn't want the battle, he was scared, reminded me so much of Tyson/Spinks in terms of mentality. Geale looked done after round 1 and I was surprised he lasted 3. well it makes me wonder because he's coming to the U.S and his mando hasn't been determined yet. Plus he doesn't have to fight a mando for unification... so it makes me think he's coming to the States to fight somebody else....now I'm starting to think it's Truax or something

Who is his mando? Being determined Next month between N'Dam and Stevens Is Martin Murray possible? Meh, maybe. Murray got Spada in October, but he's cancelled fights before. I don't know about Stateside though...Murray still not allowed here

I prefer Murray over Soliman too, I just feel with Soliman it'll be the same result as Geale (i.e stopped within 3-4 rounds) Just have a thought with Murrays toughness he can probably go maybe 7-9rds and see what's in Golovkins tank l8r on in the rounds.

Why doesn't he just fight ggg this year.. Why wait till next spring.. If I'm ggg I tell him later this year or your gonna miss out.. Soliman has balls but im sure that news wouldn't break his heart.....
