Top 5 middleweight doe, yeah so is Sam frickin' Soliman!
I said it before he fought Barker, there is nothing good about Geale. He is a Euro level fighter with severe defensive flaws. You can mark his defense at B, B- or whatever. No fighter who continually drops his opposing hand when throwing has B level defense.
He has no chin what so ever. His technique is horrible but because he has an erratic, herky jerky style people assume hes good. Not the case.
He held some title, mush, he is no better than Matthew Macklin. Macklin probably stops him.
''Geale he has never been stopped''. Hes never fought a puncher that is why.
Anybody who has followed his career and I don't mean from Barker onwards knew his ass would get stomped very early. Like I said as soon as GGG lands something meaningful he is a goner. He will get caught coming in and probably as a result of throwing those retarded uppercuts from too far out.
Adama was always going to be a harder fight based on styles. Geale was made to order.
Why is Froch even being talked about? Go upto 168, fight a Abraham or a Bika. Grab a strap and make a few more fans than the 60 you have on boxingscene. They couldn't even give tickets away for his fight with Geale and Geale sold most of the tickets.
Who would Golovkin have to beat at 160 pounds to impress you?
It is not about fighters -- it's about belts... WBC, Ring, IBF... Golovkin is normally wanting to become the undisputed champion at the MW... This is no brainer...
I picked Golovkin to steamroll Geale inside 6, fight went basically as expected.
If you don't have power then GGG is going into 'seek and destroy' mode and that usually brings the fight to an end, and rather quickly.
Geale is a decent fighter, Golovkin is a very good one.
dan_cov, i'm just wondered what kind of pathetic loser you are. You always keep whining about GGG and its opposition. Nothing in the world seem to change your mind about that. Why do you need to be so negative and pessimistic? You are like a kid. Be a man, stop whining, give something positive to the world.

Spoken from the heart. This is what I love about posters like Dan. Nothing but pure truth.
I kinda knew that, just taunting you a little for sh1tting on him now. All good though
LOL, man, I'm just messing around. Geale is a great boxer but GGG is just too strong for anyone at 160. That is just the honest truth, the guy is a monster man. I'm just playing around, GGG isn't a bum....but....he is on something or he has the very best set of genes you can have....or buy.
LMAO....nah man, that was Geale back in da day, lol........too funny. He did fit the mold though.

Cool, I meant your last avatar. Some guy from a boy band?

The other one? Ah, that one show that FX had? I'm thinking "Lights Out". That one was OK but Donovan has a much better story line and Liev Shchreiber (main actor) is the guy that does all the commentary for the 360 fight lead ups for Showtime.

Yeah it's better than the previous one. Who was that, jog my memory?

Oh yeah....Ray Donovan is pretty sweet. Ray makes for a tragic hero role....worth a watch. :boxing:

Yeah he's crap but now I want to see Quillin step up. I'd love to see him get flattened.
Who wouldn't love to see quillin get flattened? It would be hilarious. I can only imagine how surprised he would look given how surprised he always looks.
What are you actually on about? You are so transfixed with following me around on here disagreeing continually with my every post, you seem to be arguing about another fighter or something and are really making yourself look very silly in the process.
You realise that was in response about Green, right? :fing02:
My bad on the vacant titles, but 2nd point still stands: what makes Green a "far better fighter than Geale"? Never won a legit world title, made IBO defenses at a CW.
Jesus Christ you're full of sh1t. Neither title was vacant, blowhard. One of those duds you thought would blow him out.
Danny Green is way more of a paper champ. Has he ever won a title other than the IBO? And even that was not contested at the full cruiser limit. GTFO Dan

I always thought Geale was trashbags too, glad GGG exposed him as such. Good win for GGG but it might as well have been sparring since he was fighting a tub of fail.
Is that a new avatar?
Completely different divisions.
Ward had the likes of Kessler, Froch, Bika, Abraham, Dirrell(left after injury), Taylor (semi retired after back to back losses) to fight. It was also very well known that 168 was the second hottest division from 2009 to like until forever. Golovkin was never surrounded by fighters of the caliber Ward had. Golovkin should move up to fight top rated fighters, it's what people want to see. Ward on the other hand, has already filled up his resume to the brim and fans want to see him further add one more opponent that they like more than him.
Two completely different situations. One guy is accomplished at the A level, the other guy is accomplished at the B level.
You'd think the guy who's cleared out his division and gotten to #2 p4p would have more cause to move up than the guy without either credential, who's not even The Champ in his division.

Let him handle Cotto Canelo and Quillin.
It's weird how people hold Gennady to the standard of fighting at 168; yet don't hold Ward to his promise of moving to 175.

He won two vacant straps against duds. World titles mean little today.
Look at how many Zab Judah has had and he has lost virtually every big fight he ever had. Now look at Matthysse - Not had 1 title!
And can't get a world title? Hes had one try and pushed him to the brink.
He too would be a multiple time world champion if he was fighting duds for vacant straps.
Whatever way you want to spin it Green is a far better fighter than Geale and so is Wlod. Always have been, always will.
