what is up with this brian vera vs gabrial rosado BARE KNUCKLE boxing match

Rather see a 'real' boxing match between these two gatekeepers than this modified format - I'll watch the replay though

There goin to do a bare knuckle match in nevada august 16th,,,these guys are pretty respected in the boxing game,,,,i will def watch it,,,what do you guys think?? That's were you go when your career is over.

I was just reading about this fight from what i have seen its a $30 ppv. i think its a joke for them to take this fight on BKB i watched some fight before i just seemed like mediocre guys who couldn't hack it as a pro boxer so they do this. Id rather seen them in a real boxing match on ESPN than on this i feel like your career as a pro boxer is dead once you go on BKB That's pretty much what it is currently, but with with rosado vs Vera, there trying to make this organization legitimate to boxing fans. I'm sure Vera and rosado are getting decent pay with ppv upside, with the ability to become the face of there organization. But for guys who are as good as they are, this is pretty dangerous stuff. There just way to good to be fighting with gloves like this. Especially when you consider how tough these two guys are.

why not just do a regular boxing match? Vera-Rosada is an interesting fight. ESPN.

It's not bare knuckle. It's big knockout boxing. A round ring with 8 and 10 is gloves. 2min rds. Someone had a press release posted Yea I wasn't saying it was bare knuckle but its the same company that did that and same set up. I still feel the same way, I have no desire to see it unless its a regular boxing match. And I don't think it will be good if either are looking to continue to be competitive in the pro ranks

Sad to see this. I found the documentary Knuckle interesting but not for pro boxers. Less sweet science and more bum fight, caveman ****. I'm not in boxing just to see two guys beat each other senseless. Seems like an odd move for two boxers still getting fights.

UK underground bare knuckle boxing is like that. Minus the heat of course Yea, but sadly my only exposure to that is Snatch, and Knuckle, two great films. :(

This is pretty stupid for these guys to do. there's a reason skilled fighters don't do this kind of fight. One, the pay sucks, two, you can get some major scars that will re-open for the rest of your career. I hope there getting paid well for this, these guys are good enough and fought enough to do serious damage to each other.

Yea, it's not as authentic as I thought, I read the title and thought this was a throwback fight where two guys wrapped their hands, threw a mouthpiece in, and went to war for 47 rounds in the sweltering heat. Yeah, I thought the same. Then I read that nevada sanctioned it which made me dubious. Never heard of BKB though. I'll watch out of interest, can't say i'm expecting much though.

i read somewhere that they use 8 or 10 ounce gloves depending on the weight class. not sure if this BKB goes by the same standard of 8oz for 147 and down, and 10oz for 154 and up. i think you would need some really prolonged knucks for it to even rise above the glove opening. but it might not even be open knuckle anymore, they changed the BKB to "big knockout boxing". overall, this is just gonna be rosado vs vera in a weird ass ring. fvck yea...Floyd would still make Chino wear boxing gloves doe I dont know about him but I will buy that fight in a heartbeat lol. The rematch bare knuckle lol maywaether will never be the same. on a side note this is why I laugh at floyd when he talks all that tough ish like he some damn gangster lol he would never want to see maidana in a real street fight.
