Didn't see a thread on this one question so I'm going to ask..
This is a "YES" or "No" question.
Did Lara run?
Was he moving and being offensive or running and being defensive.
He wasn't running.
It's a joke that If you actually move and don't just come forward it's running. Lara boxed the sh.it out of Canelo. 25 head shots the whole fight 1 memorable uppercut that's all Canelo had.
How can People actually expect Lara go toe to toe with Canelo with his power.Lara did his thing but Nelos the $ man. For Lara to win on the cards he had to not just win but win convincingly. that's boxing.
Donaire against Rigo rd 12 if I remember correctly that's running.
if the ring was 20ft by 20ft then if algieri circled ring 10 times a round then that would be 20ft times 4 equals 80 ft a lap times 10 laps a round equal 800ft a round times 12 rounds equals 9,600ft.
which equals 1 and 2 thirds miles.
If a boxer literally "circles" in a 20x20 ring he is going along the inscribed circle, thus each lap would be 20*pi~62.8 ft
what size was that ring?
Have no idea but I can guarantee u if someone were to calculate, lara definitely got in at least 2 miles lapping the perimeter of that ring.
Finally watched it this morning on YouTube if anyone hasn't seen it but at times it was boxing yes after about the fourth it was more running and pitty patin a lot of the so called jabs he was landing were partially blocked very few actual clean hard shots tho both landed about the same when it came to actual hard shots landed to the head and Canelo's were the hardest and sent Lara into retreat it was a close fight that but I still felt canelo won and people plz stop showing the punch stats to try and prove your point when for so long all you hear is it's some guy clicking a button so that's about as relevant as dog ****. That was not a boxing lesson that was a man who was scared to exchange or even fight for that matter a boxing lesson is rigo doñaire or mayweather canelo this was nowhere close to that. And instead of ***** that one man won a fight that could have gone either is also pointless that's point of a close fight even the show time crew wasn't sure who won it and didn't wanna say because it was that close you should complain why your fighter didn't separate himself from his opponent like a true champion and put all of his skills on display but there's a reason he didn't because he doesn't have all the skills you guys make him out to have he's a very limited fighter we knew canelo had we knew he wasn't some great boxer with fast feet. This was a fight Lara was supposed to shine in and failed to do so. Lara was supposed to pick him apart but couldn't because he can't because he only fights one way and when he gets to a fighter who's as fast or "skilled" he's gonna get iced he didn't even have enough sense to tie up canelo how much ****ing skill does that take? Answer apparently more then he has. Now can please stop mentioning Lara in the same sentence as mayweather and rigo because he proved he has nowhere near the ring iq or skills and frankly he looked like he wanted to quit even his own trainer said we can't quit now he shouldn't of even had to have said that this was the biggest fight of his career and had he performed spectacularly it would have made him a star but he didn't this fight is just like Chavez zibic or whatever his name was lots of pitty pat head shots vs crucial debilitating body shots and body shots won it don't be upset just hope your fighters comes back better works his way and learns to let his damn hands go and maybe every once and while hurt a mother****er not slap him.
Wow totally agree
Holy shiet! at the time of the fight when Lara fell in this round I laughed soo hard I spilled my beer. Just looked so funny! :biggthump
People thought it was a slip. That boy jumped back so fast that he legs got behind him and he busted his azz. LOL. You would have thought Canelo had a knife the way he jumped back!

I mean, I'm a huge boxing fan in the purest sense, but that match was a snooze fest. He didn't really engage much.
Lara ran so much there were times where he tripped over his own damn feet trying to evade!
Lara was on his bike. Plain and simple. You can be defensive by Slipping/bobbing/weaving/ punches and making your opponent pay. Big difference between that and galloping across the ring like a wounded deer.
You never watched that fight in it's entirety, Mayweather actually engaged him plenty but found he couldn't hurt Baldomir, even hurt his right hand in trying to do so. At least watch the fight before playing pretend....
Did you even listen to the commentary? They were blasting Floyd for running. :bottle: The fans were booing and walking out. Floyd did sometimes engage but the only reason is that Baldomir is so so slow and flat-footed, right? Or didn't YOU watch the full fight? :lol1:
Looked like Lara was setting up a WWE move which ironically would be the only offensive thing he done that night
:lol1: your on fire today Red!!

You know it's running when you make the guy miss big and don't even return fire, the emphasis is put on finding an entirely different area code :lol1:
