I was heartbroken last year after the Canelo/Floyd fight. To see the good guy go down to a pce of turd like that. I told young Alvarez amongst a million others that his time was the future, that he will one day be a great champion again. Now it appears that the future of boxing is back in business with his clear bullying of a scared backpedalling Lara. Go Canelo, viva Mexico! =P Too many ppl quick to jump on the hype job wagon after he suffers just 1 defeat at the hands of the alleged TBE champ. Well he's still going strong and developing with the best yet to come. Sour grapes to all who defend Lara and claim he "won" LOL. The only thing he's winning is the Tour De France because he was "on his bike!" :lol1:

Now Cotto would be a great opponent and tough one for Alvarez to beat! I think Saul will develop into something special in time, but even now it'll take more than some ***** running ****** to best him.

Your about as Mexican as I am Chinese. Anybody could see that Alvarez took on a top rated opponent and chased his little chicken ass out of the place. Lara was hurtin man. Just a big bunch of sour grapes, you don't win fights running away, just as the main man said. Give him 2 or 3 more years, Alvarez will be the driving force in his weight range (assuming he doesn't have to move up in weight and meet GGG of course). :lol1: Canelo has a big future, but still needs to improve his pressure game. With his speed and power he should be knocking these slicksters out of the ring. He was better against Lara than against FMJ and Trout, but there are still improvements to be made. If Cotto can't be made next, I'd like to see him against Andrade.

Im a mexican and was hoping that canelo would win but he didnt... if this is the type of "champion" youre looking for, then youre a chump Not only did canelo not win, he didnt adjust, hes still a noob... He didnt catch Lara with **** other than that one uppercut... If by "he's back" you mean back to losing to boxers and not adjusting to them again, then yes CANELO IS BACK!!!
