I don't think Lara came close to winning. Didn't throw enough punches and took too many bodyshots. Did you see the Salinas fight? He got ko'd worse Than Gamboa by a Mexican dude who was 15-7 losing his 0 in the process. Rigo and Rances seem to be doing fine tho. If you don't think Lara came close to winning then maybe you should watch again.

The Cuban school is fine, and this is hardly a setback. BUT I hope these losses make people understand that Cuban fighters are not the demi-gods they are often made out to be, and that Gamboa and Lara aren't anywhere close to Rigo's level.

I mentioned recent fights. Rigo hadn't fought in 7. But I agree he should win his easy So you did. A sign of things to come though? Maybe. It's certainly a sign that we most likely won't be seeing too many Cubans on PPV for a while.
