Did you watch the video I posted above? Pretty revealing imo. watched the whole thing. maidana's upper body movement was phenomenal. mayweather could not settle into a groove and do his usual thing on maidana. there were moments in the middle rounds where floyd looked like he was in control but for the most part, it was fought very competitively. maidana was laying traps and countering too, not just floyd. people overlooked the chess match that was happening in the ring because of all the roughhousing.

In my honest opinion, it has no bearing on the fight outcome. Maybe a small bearing of how much punishment Floyd will take. All in all, it's not a factor. It is a waste of time debate this topic with so many stupid, immature fans who can't think for themselves and uses ZERO LOGIC when the post comments. However this has to be the first time I can remember a fighters NEEDING SPECIAL GLOVES to be able to fight his best :nonono: From both Mayweather and Maidana standpoint: Gloves Shouldn't Be A Fukin Factory! I know why some fans are blowing this entire thing up, some just want to see Mayweather if not lose take some serious damage so those fans they don't care they would be all for Maidana wearing Bare Knuckle Gloves if it was up to them But at the same time just to prove a point sometimes you do gotta take that risk, let him wear his gloves and go out and put on a clinic and box circles around him WITH HIM WEARING HIS SPECIAL GLOVES.
