all I can go by is when Ive met him a few times personally and he's always been cool and has taken pics/talked with me so he's good in my book. Has done somethings that I dont agree with but I just care about his fighting skills. The rest isnt up to me to judge. You do have to have decent sense to do what floyd did, and floyd does have some decent sense. But common sense and intelligence are two different things. I know some remarkably intelligent people who are super dopey and dont know how to get things going in their social life/love life/family life (which requires good sense), and i know some really sensible people who cant problem-solve for sh*t and dont know how to string a coherent sentence together. Floyd has decent common sense (and no more), but his intelligence/IQ is like a pile of rocks, to quote someone above. Muhammed Ali is another one. He could move and charm people like you wouldnt believe but his IQ was so low that he initially got rejected from the Army on that basis, and was always semi-illiterate (could barely read properly). Dude I've studied Ali for most of my adult life. I think I knew that he was the smartest guy in terms of school smarts. That's not the same as saying he wasn't an intelligent man. Anyone that can take Parkinson to school in an interview, would have to be pretty smart. Could he write an eloquent essay or write a book on his own? Probably not. But he was invited to lecture at Harvard. Anyway, how can we expect people to be able to read and write perfectly well when they haven't gone to any proper form of school? Both Ali and Mayweather have more than enough common intelligence. They aren't dense.

I cannot respect a man who beats women up, and secondly I love boxing. I can't respect a man who treats boxing like WWE, and cherry picks his opponents to look good. This is a a man's sport. A dangerous sport, but this is the profession boxers chose. There is No excuse to say he has the right to cherry pick. This sport is about fighting the best there is and putting up a show for the fans and making a hell of a money doing it. But I'm afraid Floyd thought boxing is acting as if it's a wrestling match and can put strings of lousy fights to keep his 0 and milk fans with their hard earned money, and thus ripping boxing fans of fights that really matters. Can't respect a man like that. Boxers are modern day gladiators, can't say he ever was a fighter, but yeah he is a boxer never a fighter.

It is indeed a brutal sport where your life can potentially, at all times, be on the line. That's correct. However, he (or any other boxer) isn't doing it just for "everyone's entertainment". They do it for money. Don't get it twisted. Floyd ain't doing this sh*t just for people's entertainment. Us being entertained comes with the territory, but in the end the sole reason fighters fight is to get paid. No $$$ and nobody is getting in that f**king ring. I respect him as a boxer, but not as a fighter nor as a man. I was once a very big fan of him and usually defend him in my own country, Philippines. What a talent he has, breaking numbers and records but he has never touch the spirit of people kinda like what Michael Jordan did, or Muhammad Ali and even Manny Pacquiao. All Mayweather has is attention but not real love. He even gets more hate than love. He is being called a duck a pu$$y and a lot more. He doesn't have the class. All he made was an illusion, of how he really wanted himself to be ofcourse he paid it by hardwork. He cares more about his PPV and his 0, rather than being the greatest of all time and being respected. Even if pacquiao gets KO'ed 10 times, he'd still get more love and respect than mayweather can ever dream of.

Oh Vlad comes to fight. Did you see any of his early pro fights? He took guys out, fast. But he fights smart and uses his advantages. Why take unnecessary punishment? Floyd just runs from his opponents, rarely goes for the KO, unless maybe there is a chance to cheap shot the opponent. When he faces a fighter like Maidana, he is in trouble. Yes Floyd won, but he clearly doesn't like being in a dog fight. Have you seen Floyd's early fights? Same thing. He doesn't have as many KOs as Wlad because he fights much better opposition and happens to be nowhere as strong as Wlad. And running = ***** fighting but constantly hugging, clinching and leaning on your opponents (which is illegal) is not? I have more respect for Floyd as a boxer than Wlad, but I definitely respect Wlad as a boxer and as a man.

I kind of knew that was coming, which is a bs excuse. You can say the same for almost every man/company on the planet. Nobody does anything completely on their own. Mayweather was smart enough to go down that route and surround himself by people who could do such a thing for him. Anyways, I'm not claiming he's the smartest guy in the world at all, just that to say he lacks intelligence is kind of strange, seeing as his his professional career as well as his boxing career is going pretty damn well. Perhaps we view intelligence differently, but I believe you don't have to be intelligent to get to where he is but rather know the right people. I'm just basing my claim from the things he says and not from what he's accomplished and I'm certainly not the only one that feels Floyd is not very bright.
