Do you think the backlash for the Aug 9th card will change anything in the sport?

It is probably wishful thinking but is it possible that the powers who put this piece of trash together will finally see that the fans are fed up with this garbage (minus the TMT/Haymon fans who just wanna see dey fighters get paid). Fans have been put through a lot of garbage cards and we all have just kind of shrugged it off, but I've never seen fans and boxing writers, experts, commentators and so forth come out with such distain for a card. Espinoza knows it, GBP knows it, Danny Garcia knows it, lord knows if Al Haymon has contact to the outside world but I'm sure he knows it. If the numbers tank, which I'm hoping they do, I really hope that everyone just says "wtf did we just put together, maybe fans won't just watch anything " I live in NYC and try to go to as many Barclay's fights as possible but I wouldn't even spend the gas money to get to this one. Also I am a Showtime subscriber who even watches almost every Shobox card, I will not be tuning in, I may stream it on my computer or maybe go out for the night but I refuse to give them an extra viewer to help them justify this piece of **** showcase card for the ages. I hope everyone in NY does the same as me and refuses to buy tickets so i tanks in sales and I hope fans do the smart thing and not watch this on Showtime so it tanks in numbers. Also as much as I want to see Garcia and Peterson lose for taking such easy fight, I would rather this fight go exactly as planned and have Jacobs, Garcia and Peterson all win in dominant fashion so there is zero justification from GB and Showtime afterward. This is the only real way a message can be sent and I can only pray they get the message and ****ing change the way things are handled in the future
