Starting on the 9th, we get 4 straight days of boxing ending with the Canelo/Lara PPV. The 9th will be on FoxSports1 with Jo Jo Diaz Jr, and Diego De la Hoya. The 10th will also be on FoxSports1 with the Barthelemey/Mendez rematch, and for some reason, Jeff Lacy will be fighting also (sigh). On Friday, its Friday night fights with the guy who just lost to Curtis Stevens and Art Hovhannisyan. Then we get the PPV on the 12th (which is honestly the best fight on paper we have had all year) with Canelo/ Lara and a pretty damn good undercard with Mares making his return, Johan perez vs herrera and JuanMa vs Francisco Vargas. This is a very nice card that i will be purchasing. Very full fight week next week. Should be nice.
*Low key there is boxing on ESPN2 tonight if you didnt know*
literally the only fight worth watching is Canelo/Lara.
Well on paper, that is possibly true, but thats why the fights take place in the ring and not on paper.
Couple of fights I'm interested in next week
Yeah me too, but mainly I just like looking at the fights in the ring. Never can tell how a fight will play out on paper.
Normally I tend to agree, but fighters like Ghost Guerrero for example, I am done giving chances on a personal level and simply won't watch fight anymore, regardless of how much I love the sport in the bigger picture. Devon Alexander is another one.
You done giving them a chance? That sounds horrible considering Ghost was ain an incredible slugfest and Devon looked probably the best I have ever seen him.
You ordering the PPV next week?
I'm not sure, my cable bill is like 400$ right now because of all the damn PPVs; my brother might order it and have a couple people over for a little fight party
If that fails I'll just go to a local sports bar
Love it! Can not have too much boxing on tv.
