Gamboa is Overated

He has defense he just doesnt use it enough and gets frustrated too easily throwing intelligent boxing out of the ring for some wild flailing bull****. Guy clearly lacks self control in the ring.

I thought Crawford looked great tonight, but I also feel that tonights fight showed that Gamboa was a fighter who always relied on his athleticism and his inactivity, plus questionable chin was on full display tonight. Not trying to hate on Crawford, but I do think saying he's a top 3 P4P fighter is a little bit premature.

Great win for Crawford but he is a disgrace to the Cuban School of Boxing. Gamboa has zero defence and a borderline glass chin, Gamboa would have beaten Abril and Vasquez tonight. I don't see Escobedo beating him so who would have taken him out besides crawford?

Gamboa had tons of success early on, I had him winning the first 4 rounds. Crawford is a switch hitter, he's tricky. It took him a bit to get used to fighting Gamboa southpaw but he could land his power hand easier from that stance and he did so. Gamboa fought like he always does, he gets tagged and he wants to brawl.

I wasnt aware that Crawford weighed 152 pounds, that sounds crazy. I must admit i fell asleep during the undercard but luckily i woke up just Gamboa and Crawford started the round. I did see the whole fight though. While gamboa did well for the first 3 or 4 rounds. I immediately noticed he usually jumped in head first throwing loads of punches and left his chin wide open. Based on my observation, i arrived at the conclusion that Gamboa is overated because a decorated amature like himself should never get hit so easily especially when he is Cuban. So you decide to call Gamboa overrated, when your own bum ass was hardly awake for the event? GTFO.

Gamboa will go down as one of the most underrated fighters of this generation. He is just far too small for this division. Especially considering he's fighting a guy as talented as Crawford. He beats lesser lightweights but he is too short to compete with big and skilled ones. Says nothing about.your skill when you lose to a big skilled guy who can take your best. Too bad he didn't stay at 126-130.

Don't be silly. He was more than competing with a much bigger opponent and got a little too aggressive, but he looked good. Nobody f*cks with Gamboa at 126, nobody.
