Has nothing to do with Haymon, seems to me like it is all about Canelo and the up and coming Trial over All Star Boxing vs Golden Boy Promotion and it seems like they are setting up Schaefer to take the fall for that ugly situation. The timing off this all right before that All Star Boxing vs GBP trial makes this all look a bit strange. The FANS and media people are the ones just assuming it is over Haymon but I am starting to think it is because of the fact that they STOLE Canelo from All Star Boxing and they are likely going to lose some money from that Trial as well

Get at me when it goes from arbitration to litigation, because this would just be the first part of a trek that will take years to sort out. You know who wins between a legal battle between a company and their former CEO, the lawyers and the competitors. It is part of why Oscar whole scheme was ill-conceived in the first place because this was the only place it was going to go and what can be gained back is much less than what will be lost (if anything can be gained).

I think Schaefer official left the company after Arum revealed De La Hoya's concerns; what that makes me believe is that Richard was waiting for De La Hoya to breach the contract first. He may try arguing something along the lines of being constructively dismissed, as in employment contracts there are implied terms of good faith trust and so forth. By making allowing the information to go public, Richard may argue that Oscar broke a trust between them, and created an environment where he could no longer be expected to fulfil his contractual obligations due to the beakdown in their relationship. To be honest, it looks as though Schaefer has acted in a very shrewd and calculated manner; I suspect that it will be difficult for Oscar to pin anything on him. Much of it is Oscar's own fault: had he abstained from getting coked up, he could have kept a watchful eye over Schaefer in order to prevent him covering his back.
