Time to promote a big fight

If he fights later this year, he might as well scrap with Khan. No, that fight is stupid. Khan has done nothing to earn it. It wouldn't surprise me if Floyd fights Cotto for his Middleweight title some time in the future. It gives Floyd a chance to win a new title, fight a top Latin fighter to help his ppv #'s and fight a small Middleweight champ without taking a big risk of fighting a true big Middleweight champ. Cotto won't have that title by the end of the year if he fights GGG, Alvarez, Or Lara. Mayweather won't fight Cotto because Cotto is a part of Top Rank.

I don't believe Mayweather would take that long and announce he is fighting in september on 2 months notice. It just doesn't sound right. Common sense. Think about it.
