i dont think hes gonna amount too much but i do like evgeny gradovich.
i kinda have my eyes on andy ruiz
i woulda said great things for rusell jr until yesterday, hes still a very good fighter but hes gotta lot to learn. that handspeed is amazing but only if he can use it right
Lomachenko
Antony Joshua
Gary Russell Jr
Oscar Valdes
Rey Vargas
if russell and lomachenko aren't prospects, matvey korobov and Egor Mekhontsev
personall,y i stop calling oguys prospects when they get turned loose. lomachenko and russle jr are not prospects at all to me.
joshua is a real talent. i want to see what happens when he fights somebody that will hit him back and make him go rounds. he's only gone 9 rounds total :lol1:
hopefully matt skelton's dead body will give him rounds.
i haven't seen a can't miss prospect in a while now. it's a bit scary.
the kids coming up in america aren't anything to write home about.
can you imagine if sugar ray leonard turned pro today? do you think i'd ever shut up about him :lol1:?
I don't consider him a prospect anymore. I think he proved he is the real deal last night.
yeah, was a bit of a light hearted question, just incredible, 3 fights and a world titlist...not a champion considering he won a vacant belt against a guy who hadn't faced much credible opposition.
I'll be more impressed if he avenges that Salido loss and fights a fellow belt holder.
BTW is 2-1 Lomachenko, WBO titlist, considered a prospect? lol

I watched Iokas fight against felix Alvarado on NYE and he looked very good. Didn't see his loss after but you're right there's tons of time for him to come again
there's a long tradition of fighters in the lower divisions, especially those from Japan to jump up to a higher level far too quick, they should take their time with him. I'm not saying fight bums but have some good, solid match ups before they try and hit the jackpot cos this kid is talented.

Frampton, although he is almost a champion but I just wanted to mention him as he will be a future star!
A proper prospect top 5 now:
Anthony Joshua is just so damn exciting for the division
Luke Campbell has the pedigree and looks to be built solid, could move up in weight well
Omar Figueroa is exciting, young and in a good division where he can make a splash
Kazuto Ioka, dunno what to make him, suffered his first lost and has already held a world title but only 25 I think he has been moved along a bit too fast, maybe now they can take time with him
Vasyl Lomachenko, see above

Why not campbell? he looked great in getting Olympic gold and hasn't put a foot wrong in his pro-career.
Personally I think his punching technique is all wrong, a bit like ogogo. I do wish him well, but I don't see anything special, and also the sky pundits comparing him to ODH pisses me off.
Thanks for the reply.
Yeah Callum Smith and Joshua look pretty good. Hughie looks pretty solid. I haven't heard about his illness. What is wrong with him?
I'm not to high on Eubank Jr.
Apparently he has some mystery illness that had seriously debilitated him. He's fought through it, took a break from boxing, then fought through it and now having some proper time out until he's properly rested I heard. Apparently it could be due to fighting so often at such a young age.
Eubank Jr is destined for greatness.
Callum smith
Eubank jr
Anthony Joshua
Luke Campbell
Hughie fury- this guy had been crippled by illness his whole young career, will be frightening when half fit.
Can't speak for the US scene.
All those except Luke Campbell.
