I mean, it's not really any new information, everybody pretty much knew that Ruslan was susceptible to being outboxed as he's been in the past.
The thing is though, the three guys that beat and outboxed him (Algieri, Bradley and Herrera) took very bad punishment and had to walk through hell to beat him. He has that going on for him I suppose. However, if he doesn't improve different facets of his boxing skills then he's going to eventually get outboxed, and possibly stopped, against a guy who can do what those guys managed to do without taking any of the punishment. His approach is so basic and one-dimensional that it's evident he'll never reach the elite level unless he manages to change various factors.
He arguably didn't lose any of those fights either, it's all in the scoring. What has become clear is that Ruslan has to start knocking out his opponents because he's not getting any favours.

No The boxing gods are just punishing him for ducking Rios.
Oh please. Rios is a scrub and Provodnikov would mess him up. The fight can still be in the works because Rios is best known for getting beat by Pacquiao without firing anything back.
Provs presssure fighting game is just not good, his approach at getting at effective range is so one dimentional its so frustrating... its so easy for a decent mover to make him reset limiting his punch output everytime due to his inability to throw punches at any angles...imo
I guess it could be like reverse psychology. He could land a big name fight verses a top boxer for a big payday. But I just think he made it tougher on himself to get a fighter he likes to fight or a style he likes to fight.
