Here in the UK we have the expression "he's in the who needs him club".
Typically for fighters who the risk outweighs the reward.
So I want to know who are yours?
Obvious choices are GGG and Andre Ward but there must be lots more out there.
Cheers can't find any good videos all people talking about robberies in their garage or study haha
Watch "Mauricio Herrera vs Ruslan Provodnikov" on YouTube

I cant find the other ones. You might be able to find them in the video trading block.
I just think out of weight it's a bit hard to say you are ducking. But that's just my opinion.
Yeah Bika unless your names Degale ;o)
Degale could join this club potentially....He is not as dangerous obviously
Has DeGale said he wants to fight him?
Watch him vs Ruslan, Alvarado and Garcia.
Altho he lost the Alvarado fight, he showed he can do some stuff. Like fighting off the ropes. IMO he lost that fight cause fought a dumb fight.

Not seen any Herrera, can anyone recommend any good fights to watch?

I think stepping up in weight to face a champ is asking a lot, I don't think Kovalev is light at the weight either??
Then fight lesser opponents at 168. Bika would love a rematch and he deserves one, Dirrell bros, travel to Europe.
Incidentally, Bika's another name for your not needed club.
Froch is an average sized SMW, he said he's more likely to move down than up. Ward won a gold medal at LHW.
He said he wanted to move up 2 years ago but Hunter told him not to. He's hanging around 168 hoping for a Chavez fight on PPV, which probably won't happen. The guy has all sorts of excuses for every fight that isn't happening and his Kovalev one is just the latest.
Blah blah, we all know the score. No one wants to fight krusher Kovalev, they all have their excuses.
He firmly belongs in this thread, instead of top contenders he has to fight the Cedric Agnews of the world.

Never heard the expression 'who needs him club' before?
Where in the UK are you from? Up North?
Really??
I'm in London but originally the boxing capital of the UK Bournemouth ;o)
Fair enough. I'm not sure Ward should be in that list and not say Froch...

ward is a super middleweight and has stated he isnt ready to move up and fight anyone at 175 atm. it doesnt have jack **** to do with kovalev, he just doesnt feel he would be comfortable at 175 just yet.

dawson hasnt fought anyone since coming off two losses. say what you will about him but he never ducked anyone and he has fought much better and more accomplished fighters than kovalev. to say he doesnt want to fight kovalev before he has had a single comeback fight is beyond retarded, typical fanboy just throwing in any name he can to boost his mans hype.
stevenson isnt lining up to fight him because he is going after a better fight against hopkins. hopkins is not only a legend, but even in recent years he has done better things than kovalev. beat better fighters and holds two belts as opposed to one. not to mention the fact that he brings in a lot more money, i know we arent talking about froch here so money goes back to being irrelevant. but still.
the others, fair enough..

Stevenson, Pascal, Ward, Braehmer, Dawson...none of them are lining up to fight him.
Add Thurman to your list.

Uhhh I dont think this is what TS was talking about. Rigo IS the best. He brings in multiple belts. So there's a HUGE reward in beating him. Maybe not financially but theres a big reward if you beat him.
I think better examples are Lara and Herrera (more than Lara), like Golovkin pointed out. At least Lara is a champion. Herrera on the other hand, hes a nobody. Hes a dangerous smart fighter who brings NOTHING. No belt, no money, no fan base.
Ward is also a bad example. He, just like Rigo, is a lineal and P4P champion. GGG is borderline cause he's getting real popular so he's starting to bring in a fan base and numbers plus a belt.

Most ducked fighters in addition to ward and ggg:
Rigo
Kovalev

Correct me if i'm wrong.
