If no Xylocaine than he's talking out of his a$$
I am from the UK and was at Wembley for the Froch / Groves fight - it was a massive domestic event with 2 popular UK fighters.
I think that if (a big if) Khan fought FMJ in the UK then it could be a large venue, but personally I don't think it would sell out Wembley stadium or generate the type of anticipation in the UK.
It would, however easily fill a 40-50k venue.
I believe FMJ will pick Khan after Garcia, and I don't think that Khan will pose any type of threat whatsoever.
You don't get lucky against Floyd, to beat him you have to out hustle him, or present some kind of different physical threat.
Khan is neither, he is very average at 147.
But Guerrero and Ortiz were that great and deserved it, right?
Khan has no right to demand a Floyd fight, but he is an acceptable choice for Floyd. I don't know what everyone's big problem is with him. He wouldn't be Floyd's (or Manny's) least deserving opponent ever.
And if Maidana could overwhelm Floyd with workrate early, imagine what Khan, a MUCH faster fighter and fairly quick starter, would do in the first couple of rounds. Floyd would be the favorite, but I wouldn't discount Khan's chances.
We need to see more Khan fights before we can predict his chances against Floyd. Yes, he showed improvement against Collazo, but Collazo isn't a top 10 WW.
And it wouldn't take Floyd long to adjust to Khan's speed. You guys say Khan has never been outboxed, but Khan has never faced a boxer as good as Floyd. Trying to outbox Floyd is considered suicide. Something's got to give.

khan has a weak chin and money is going for the easy KO because he hasn't had one in a long time and no guerrero and ortiz didn't deserve a fight but that already happened its in the past khan lost to garcia regardless of the situation Khan was in .....Garcia deserves the fight then khan i have no objection to that i just don't think he deserves a shot before garcia considering the fact he already got tko'd in the 4th .....if garcia can do that to him what in the world do you think Money would do to him ? unless khan has been running drills to take punches to the chin its over for him i don't think the fight will go the distance i think he will get knocked out even earlier then the 4th :boxing:
i dont understand why people can't understand that ......mind you most of the people sticking up for Khan are from the UK and they just can't comprehend that Khan really isn't that great and doesn't deserve to step into the ring with the p4p king and trust me i always bet against Money and lose so its not like I'm rooting for him but Khan is garbage all talk hell get smoked in the ring by Money

Floyd isn't smoking Khan for shit, he could barely get past a one dimensional swinging like an amateur Maidana.
I'm not for one second saying Khan is beating that coward but he certainly puts up a hell of a better fight than the likes of Chino, Garcia, and any other WW other than Porter or Pac right now.
Khan isn't on Floyd's level. Not even close. Khan should not even be mentioned in the same sentence as Floyd. That's not me being a nuthugger, that's just the reality of it. Other than speed, there's nothing Khan does better than Floyd.

Floyd would take two rounds max to adjust to Khan's speed. He's just a better fighter than Khan. Sure Khan might win the early rounds, but after that, Floyd would sweep the rest of the rounds and win by 9-3 UD.
Khan may have great speed, but Floyd has the best timing in the sport, and timing beats speed.
i agree with this statement 100% Money is like a computer in the ring
You are a complete imbecile of a poster, how much more hate can you generate for Khan? yeh we get your point you don't like Khan, Now FUCK off elsewhere unless you want to post something merely relevant to the boxing world instead of your trolling nonsense.
did i once say i hated Khan ? i don't even know the guy on a personal level but do i think he should / have the right to fight Money ...not a snowballs chance in hell chap

There's a term called styles makes fights which you probably aren't aware about. I agree Khan would get destroyed by Canelo,Thurman etc. Khan struggles against punchers and not against boxers, Mayweather is not a huge puncher and I don't see him hurting Khan or stopping him, Khan has never struggled against a boxer and has never been outboxed plus he has some ridiculous handspeed to cause some serious damage early on. Floyd has been fighting slow flat footed brawlers for a long while now and Danny would be no exception, just my opinion.
i am well aware of styles and khans does not impress me ....
Garcia would be way more entertaining then khan and since garcia already beat khan he deserves it more the khan does

Just for the sake of curiosity if not Khan then who do you think would come close to Dethone Mayweather?

Lemme put this right. Khan would probably lose to Floyd but cmon Khan has some strong attributes to trouble Mayweather, specially in the early rounds. Floyd would probably adjust after and win a close UD. But I have strong faith that fight with Khan would be closer than what people think, Khan would do much much better than Guerrero,Ortiz,Canelo and some of Floyd's other opponents.
As far as Floyd fighting Khan in the Uk, I don't think so.
Canelo would chew khan up and spit him out and money beat canelo khan will get destroyed id rather see garcia fight then khan because as we all know garcia already gave khan the business

like i said i want Money to be Dethroned ...But Khan is not the one to do it ....Money will fight Khan because its either him or Garcia and they are both going to lose miserably either way it is going to be a breeze thru with either opponent :boxing:
