there's only two fighters at super middle that are PPV and that's froch and chavez ... if ward wants PPV he has to accept that HE is NOT PPV and has to be the B-side to either one of these guys. That means he has to submit to their terms not the other way around. he has to take less money, he has to fight where they want him to fight etc. But Ward never concedes anything in negotiating and acts like he is Floyd mayweather expecting these guys to bend over for him and moaning and bitching about ducking when they don't spread their ass checks just right for him.

Ward wants the Mayweather/Pacquaio Status right now, even took Mayweather/Pacquaio years of putting in work to get where they are at now. stevenson and kovalev arent in his weightclass. he shouldnt need to leave his division before he is ready to get a good fight, he will move up when the time is right for him meaning when he grows into the division. ggg wont fight him, not the other way around. all ward has said is he wont move down to make it happen, which is reasonable. ward would be a fool to make the same mistake dawson made against him. as for golovkin moving up, the same thing applies to him as it does ward. he will move up when he is ready. froch is the one who wont fight ward too, not the other way around. they say ward doesnt sell enough tickets yet they include bika in the conversation. they talk about degale, kessler, even paul and callum smith but not ward. if his name is brought up by someone else they are quick to dismiss it and change the subject. they want chavez jr, someone whos status exceeds his ability. not the opposite in ward. there really arent many options for ward, both froch and kessler refuse to fight him. who else is there at 168lbs? surely chavez jr if he moves up would rather take on froch considering thats a much easier fight. ward needs to forget about getting a PPV fight and just stay busy. anthony dirrell, sakio bika or james degale would all be decent defenses. just because you deserve to be on PPV doesnt mean you will, ward is being too much of a baby about it. its an unfair situation but he has to make the best of it. Ward is getting more attention for not fighting than he was when he was fighting. I think thats because people are wondering what the fook he is doing to his career. This guy is supposed to be one of the best fighters in the world but hasnt done anything of note since Froch and thats what....two and a half, nearly 3 years ago. The dude just whines, looks down his nose at all his contemparies and then has a reservoir load of excuses not to fight them. Its a sad waste.:sad:

True but I thought the fight was somewhat competitive a lot more so than what the judges had it!! With Ward being seemingly a part time fighter If Bika can bring that same work-rate he did to Ward a second time round in a neutral venue its a winnable fight. Yeah, maybe you're right.
