IBF mandates Sturm vs Stevens for mandatory position?

Eh, sometimes it's because it's what somebody on twitter says.... so it's like a he says she says. Then it turns out being true later on. Don't want to be like... OMG, this is for sure happening! I get disappointed sometimes opening up threads and either seeing it being totally untrue or just a horrible misinterpretation I feel ya brah

How did Sturm become the mandatory AGAIN? Why don't the IBF just mandate Sturm vs. Bundrage at a catchweight for some random made up title at 157. These guys have to have dirt on the IBF to be getting title shot after title shot. They recycle worse than Arum.

Ithink it's just Solimon's style that made him look his age.... Solimon is crazy with his activity and movement... it's really... awkward Sturm didn't look that bad it was due to Solimon's constant movement he never lets you get set he's always bouncing around changing angles coming in holding going backwards. Sturm could never get his groove bcse of the tempo the Aussie sets. Stevens fights more to his liking in terms of pace but I'd still say Stevens outpoints him maybe stops Sturmy.

How many time the IBF going to give Sturm a chance?

Sturm is old, he had a good win over barker, but I think he is done at the top level.. Stevens-while not great, is good enough, and fresher and should make sturm look old..

So that leaves Stevens vs. Murray/Lemieux/N'Jikam. Will Murray ever travel to the U.S.? Murray has visa issues it will be difficult.

I don't think we will see Steven's vs Lemieux as Lemieux's promoter is getting sued by Steven's promoter. They will not play nice with each other. So it will be Steven's vs who knows. They just might say hell with it and make Steven's a mandy for Soliman Probably go N'Dam or a softy....N'Dam is really into the IBF now that SOlimon won

Murray is a maybe Lemieux already turned it down, probably chasing Quillin N'Jikam is a huge possibility. the only reason sturm is getting these continued shots is because he is "big" in germany and brings in money, somewhat I think half and half... I mean, Bunderage keeps getting shots somehow. Just the IBF I guess

Yea. We don't even know if he's going to continue fighting yet. IMO... just make Stevens/Murray on October. Berman said he's trying to get a title fight there... highly unlikely and Solimon will most likely try to unify with JCC Jr/Froch being looked at and Cotto/ (Most likely canelo) most likely being looked at. Stevens is the next highest/willing if Sturm turns down behind Murray They offered David Lemieux the IBF eliminator before Stevens but Yvon Michelle said Sturm wasn't in their plans. If Sturm doesn't want it Stevens vs Lemieux would be epic.
