Just comparing the two, both were desperation punches, but one was a lucky one and the other wasn't, you see lucky punches in UFC a lot when both just swing for the fences hoping something lands. No, it was a counter right hook that clipped John Jackson, nothing lucky. Dude jumped in right into it. Just like Victor Ortiz/Collazo perfect right hook. Stop, it was Lucky, he wasn't timing it at all he was just throwing out of desperation, just stop already man. Marquez was timing his right hand he even dropped his spar mate with the same counter right he ko pac with, Andy Lee wasn't even expecting to KO the guy you can see it he was running away avoiding the beating and was throwing hooks so the fight didn't get stopped and bam.

That KO was definitely my favorite part of last night's event. The way he sparked that dude was nothing short of bad ass.

how can it be a top KO if its "a true lucky punch" as you called it? makes no sense. which one is it? it wasnt a lucky punch either btw, he was lucky jackson got so incredibly sloppy but thats about it. A lucky punch can be a Top KO, who said they couldn't? and yes it was a lucky punch, Lee was just throwing that out of desperation, he was running back about to fold and bam threw hooks and it landed you can even see he wasn't expecting it to land he was just throwing it to keep the guy off him so the ref doesn't stop it. The Marquez punch was not a lucky punch because he was setting it up and baiting Pacman, he wanted to time him coming in and Marquez is patient even under adversity, Lee was running all over the ring and on the ropes just throwing some shots to avoid the beating and Bam.

Lee has serious pop at 154 so I think he should adjust to the weight and stay there to lobby for a title. MW didn't work out for him already.

Spectacular K.O. At first i was confused because of the camera angle but once i saw Jackson on the ground and the replay rolled around, i was in awe. That awkward right uppercut landed right on the button and lights out. Vicious blow had me worried about Jackson's health. Great K.O. but not a good performance. I thought Lee would use his range to work behind the jab and set up from there but he hesitated too often. He was also very inactive at times and that wont sit well with most top 154 lbs fighters. Lee vs Trout would be a good fight IMO :boxing:
