He also says the punch Martinez KO'd with was a lucky shot.
"The punch he landed on me was something he threw out of desperation, because of the way I was attacking him. That was a fight I was on my way to winning."
"Cotto always comes to fight, he always fights in the same style and Martinez has nothing to get him off him."
"They're both up there in years, but I think Cotto, with the pressure he brings and his bodywork, will knock him out without much trouble in the final rounds."
I didn't expect this from a guy like PWill. He's as honest as they come, but I have a hard time believing he honestly believes Cotto wins easily. I thought Williams and Martinez were cool with each other, with Martinez even inviting him to the Chavez fight, but I have to wonder... Is he saying this out of spite/bitterness?

Of course not. Pwill has every reason to be bitter about not walking but he said fuk it. Why would he hold a grudge against Sergio He speaks truth best believe.
Most deliberately thrown/timed "lucky shot" I've ever seen

It's one of them lucky punches them stupid pac$h!ts be talking about lol
The only way Cotto can win this fight is by TKO. There's no way he is outpointing Sergio by boxing and fighting off the back foot. He just doesn't have the stamina to do so. His best bet is to force Martinez into using a lot of foot movement, in the hopes of him dislocating his knee joint again. Even with that style he still runs the risk of running into a lot of counters he doesn't see because Maravilla's hands are a lot heavier and faster than his.
Why are you acting like Sergio isn't an absolute monster that's naturally bigger than him? For all intensive purposes, he's fighting a better, faster, and harder hitting Austin Trout @ a weight class higher than where he fought Trout.
Why are you acting like Sergio is some kind of giant? He's only slightly taller than cotto, and will walk out into the ring with only a 5-10 lb weight advantage. Oh god, how will cotto manage?
You're intensive purposes are irrelevant. Martinez is nothing like trout (vice versa), and cotto will not be fighting Martinez like he tried to fight trout, boxing from the outside.
No, instead we will see one of the more physical fighters, cotto, be especially physical to one of the more finesse fighters, Martinez.
Are we really acting like if Sergio didn't have questionable knees, Cotto wouldn't touch this fight with a 30 foot pole?
And here's where you go full retard. Fact of life: cotto doesn't shy away from fighting the best.

That wernt no lucky punch, he was landing the same shot towards the end of the first fight. U just got figured out paul, it happens but unlike marquez it didnt take sergio 4 fights to put u to sleep
No disrespect to Pwill but Sergio was throwing that punch all fight and was clearly looking for that punch. No way that was lucky.
Martinez also won the first fight.
Dude what did u expect after the sh it that spilled out of his mouth?
This is exactly what I'm talking about. Apparently posters here are only interested someone's opinion if they agree with it, otherwise its "sh it slipping out of his mouth". I think if anyone is entitled to give their opinion regarding a boxing match, its a former boxer, regardless of how unlikely or absurd it may seem.
For the record, I disagree on both his prediction, and the thought that he was winning the rematch.
Jesus effing christ, this wasn't supposed to turn into a Williams bashing thread.
It's my fault though. Knowing this place, I shouldn't have expected anything less.
